The great thing about opinions is that most of the time they are so easy to back up. No matter which console you pick, there is sufficient evidence to completely qualify your claim and make the other consoles look like childs play. The problems come when you don't even take advantage of said evidence, and instead base your entire rant on your own opinions.

It's a great point to make, but after fairly denoting one of your complaints against the XBox system, namely, its "rip-off" controller, you never go on to explain why it is a rip-off. Something that is a rip-off is usually something that is not worth the value at which it is being sold. Never once do you address its value or worth, only how similar it is to the PS3's controller. If the XBox controller is a rip-off, and it is extremely similar to the PS3 controller, doesn't that make the PS3 controller a rip-off as well?

Using ad hominem arguments rarely make you seem more intelligent, and almost never advance the case you are trying to make. In the future, avoid attacking people and focus more on your argument.
"Now for the System...Alot of people complain that the PS3 is too expensive and that you should get an X-box. Well did you guys ever consider this, The X-box 360 is 400-500$(Depending on if you get the Elite or not) not to mention you have to buy extra feartures for it, HDDVD gonna cost you around 50$ and then there X-box live equipment(if you never had an original X-box) thats another 50isgh and then ther is X-box live which chages I think 50$ a year or somthing. that makes the 360 total to about 650+...making it more expensive then the PS3."
Yes, at first glance the 360 would seem more expensive, however you never address any of the other hidden fees, which you were so quick to point out for the 360, that may be present on the PS3. Furthermore, this doesn't explain why the 360 isn't great, it merely points out that it may cost more than the PS3. As pointed out by many PS3 owners on this board, sometimes items that cost more are actually better than the competing products.

Good concession. Throwing in a tid-bit like that makes you seem less overbearing, and more rational, which can only help your argument.

Delving into opinions about games is rarely a good idea, as everyone has different tastes, and something that you love may be considered trash by someone else. Because of this, it is usually better to focus on something that is more concrete, and less based upon your own taste in games. Your choices are valid, they just aren't applicable to everyone else.

Yes, that is what you were trying to say. However, as you can see from my points above, you failed to produce any conclusive evidence as to why the XBox isn't a great system. You have your ideas, you just need to express them more clearly, and with more evidence and less vague ranting. A good start, but work on your ideas somemore before you post on GameSpot again.
