the only 360 owners i know at school are kids who read Halo books during cllass. I'm quite ashamed in owning one now.

With that said, Xbox 360 is the coolest consumer electronic ever made. Fact!

It is a polling of the coolest brands. Nintendo and Playstation are still MUCH LARGER recognized brand names than the Xbox. So it's not surprising it didn't poll as well.

However, itis jumping to false conclusions tosayit isn't "cool" because it didn't make the list...just that it isn't as recosnizeable a brand.

LOL...did anyone read this full article? It was a "survey" of 2,000 young people in Britain. Big freakin' deal. Why would I care about what Brits (no offense) think is cool? This makes it sound like this is a wide ranging thing, completely misleading title. It should say "Xbox360: Officially uncool in Britain".JTH_22

Yeah, the article also states that Xbox made the long list...just not the top 20.

Who cares anyway. It's bad enough people are brainwashed by hype, PR and advertising...are people now going to start crying over whether or not something is "cool" enough. We get enough of that crap with casuals who think they are real gamers.

Well give it time people. The first Xbox sold about 25 million while the PS2 sold 110 million. Popular = Cool.

360 will eventually sell more than the Xbox so it will be looked at in a different light.
