Xbox 360 or ps3 (Post your thoughts when you vote)

Seriously both consoles are solid systems but I dont know what would be better and I feel both are a good buy both have solid games. For information what i like Shooters(alot), Rpgs, Online on just about any game i said, and action. Some multi plats that appeal to me are tearing me apart There is Call of duty 4 and world at war also there is RE5 fallout 3, GTA IV, and FF13 are to name some. For Xbox 360 Portal Still alive Gears of war 2 Halo 3 Halo wars Mass effect 2 Bioshock2. Ps3 Mag Resistence 2 Killzone2 Little big planet Metal Gear Solid 4 GRAN TURISMO. I'm pretty well stuck but Please vote and post why if you just click buttons how do i know why to get either one of them.

Depends on what you're after. PS3 has the most features by far, but as of right now the 360 game library trumps the PS3s. I think I might have to finally get a 360.gamefreakomega

Sorry alright first off Not true 40gb has no BC 60Gb only had 80% of PS2 and PS1 games 80gb is i think just about the same so dont even say that and also if im getting PS3 I will be keeping PS2 and as well will not play the games on ps3. BC is not a factor either for me.

As far as online goes, the PS3 community is smaller than the 360's. The 360's is also better integrated, but Sony is taking steps to fix that. PS3 online, as of right now, is free, whereas the 360's has an understandable fee.

You can also use the PS3 as an Internet browser. It's a feature i'm starting to use more and more. It's pretty cool to be able to sit in my living room and stream music from my computer while loading a video on youtube.

I'm not an expert on 360 online services, because I don't have one, but I assume it's comparable to what the PS3 offers. It all really comes down to what you prefer.

I enjoy the 360 because of the library of games...I spend a great deal of money getting games. XBL....theres always someone online, never have a problem getting online...all of the features are great. I love to turn my box on as soon as I get home from work...I'll see my friends and we'll start gaming. Or when I dont have someone on....it will let me know anytime that they are on, so that we CAN get into some multiplayer. I love my chat pad, IM always chatting with friends online, not just on xbox. Im happy the 36o came with hd cables and headset. I like inside xbox....I dont have to turn on my pc to get xbox news.

I believe that Microsoft tries the hardest out of all of the other consoles to bring the fanbase what they want. If you look at other consoles..they have things that they want, Its not many things that a 360 owner wants, besides the hardware issues. Still even with that....you can get your box fixed for free. It is a hassle but thats MY only knock. I love the parental control you can have over your box. You can set it to where certian games cant be played. Along with movies. I dont wanna keep it going...but its a great deal I enjoy with the 360. Im happy I purchased it, I couldnt imagine if I bought a Sony at launch.

Im not asking for a whole paragraph but i do like what that guy did though. But all he is doing is saying blank statements saying "Easy PS3" thats not telling me anything thats saying that get the ps3 cause I say so.

EDIT Also if the guy takes all that time to make blank statements doing some pointers would have taken half the time.

But to be honest i am PC gamer and this is my opinion i got from watching things from "neutral point of view"

I own both consoles and really prefer the 360 a million times more it is just a better console.

My 360 is my gaming console it is seriously the best.

My ps3 is my bluray player and once in a while they have a great title like MGS4.

I wont lie, my fanboy goggles are a bit loose after those e3 conferences but im still aware that paying for an online experience which i can get for free which is just as good and just as fun is stupid. the ps3 suits my needs perfectly, sure they lost FFXIII to 360 but we still have it and also versus. other than that i still fail to see the originality in 360s hardware. even after all of that said, thats still me AFTER being impressed my mS this year.

im sorry tho, sony takes the cake, well atleast mine.

Ya if people dont realize this 50$ a year is 4$ a month which is next to nothing in the end of the day. Currently and in the future the libraries are equal.

Microsoft is really going the extra mile to top the PSN in any situation believe me I just might sell my 40gb PS3 soon because it is just a phat stack of money sitting on my entertainment stand and never gets used.Sherjas24

I tried live and psn they seem the same to me but i think home is going to be big when it comes out

i think it comes out in september. And i would worry about rrod my freinds broke he only had it 2 months.

And sony has been working alot on psn so think it will soon be better than live and free.

The only reason I have not sold it is because of the bluray and can see my self playing a lot of street fighter in the future on it because of the large japanese market and do not like the 360 controller for fighters.

mgs4 is for the fans and resistence is genric trash. their only thing they had going for the was the 50 player mp and now mag is having 256 player mp so its pointless. like i said ps3 is pointless now
