Xbox 360 or ps3 (Post your thoughts when you vote)

the 360 have by far the best games and exclusives, by terms of both quality and quantity. Well, one game puts the quality section in turmoil for quite a while but as cows said recently, one game doesn't matter all that much :) hypocrites.....

If it wasn't for mgs4, the thought of getting ps3 would not have ever surface but it's gone now because I know 3 people that bougth the ps3 for that exact purpose and blu-ray.

And xbox live kicks psn's ass

xbox 360.

Why? it has quantity, quality and variety

the console is the cheapest console where i live (europe)

games are also cheaper

i have a great selection of pretty much every genre

Well in my country USA the new games run at 60$ each some of the 360 games get their price lowered a lot quicker though. And currently the ps3 is 100$ more which i could use to get another controller and a game with XBL(Ill wait till my gold trial month is done) which with the ps3 I would more then likely only end up with a game 1 controller that came with it. Either way it will probably be my last game till christmas although i may just decide to pick up something besides halo 3 like fable 2 which i am excited for. But at the moment its pretty close in polls becasue when ps3 gets one so does the 360 (votes). According to my friends both are good and i really cant go wrong with either one of them. Which is always good to know any way.

OK but once again input is still nesscesary i want to have atleast 20% difference in the polls before I decide so all you sony fanboys tell me what you like about this console.

X360 for 2006 games that lemmings love to hype because PS3 didn't exist. PS3 for games right now and in the future. PS3 has better games right now this year.

More inhouse development = more exclusives and thats an area where MS can't compete with Sony. Almost every good game on X360 is also available or will be available on PC or PS3.

Last PS3 just does more, has a brighter future and is a higher quality piece of equipment. Not to mention it costs substantially less in the long run.

Ports on X360 or PS3 are pretty much equal, anyone saying otherwise is pretty much lying. Sometimes they are a tiny bit better on PS3 sometimes a smidgen better on X360, but really nothing people would notice. As far as exclusives go, I would say there are more games on PS3. With X360 most of their exclusives are just timed and usually come to either PC or PS3 as well.

I say PS3. It's the ultimate system. here is why-

- Great games coming out for it in the near future such as GoW3, R2, KZ2, LBP, White Knight Story, etc.

- Great games already out for it like Warhawk, MGS4, Uncharted, Dark Sector, etc

- Built in internet browser

- Built in blu-ray player

- Built in wireless adapter

- Free online play which is almost the same as XBL and at some points better

- Home

- Nice sleek look

- Nice controller

- Costs less money than the Xbox 360 in the long run

- Built in HDD in all consoles

- The Cell Processer

- Easy to use interface

i own both consoles but i prefer xbox360 at the moment because i like rpg's

The Xbox 360 has the best games, the best version of games, the larger library of games, more selections of movies, the best controller, the best online service, larger userbase, better community, more appealing, the lower starting price, the best experience, it's just simply better than the PS3.

This gen you could live without the PS3, but you can't say the same for the Xbox 360. You need the Xbox 360 in your life this gen. The Xbox 360 is like the giving birth, going to the prom, your first kiss, your first time, getting your license, getting married, you need to experience the Xbox 360 experience.

ok dude stop asking people to post their opinions because from the looks of it you like the 360 better cause your like supporting it with online and everything. as for me i perfer the ps3. sorry i cant post why i think this but i will soon. as for you youre probably going to buy a 360.

The 360 has the larger library, and more quality exclusive titles.

The online community is lively and well populated, but most of that population consists of hooting idiots.

I like pizzas over tacos.. tacos are ok but pizza is where its at.
