Xbox 360 popularity

Xbox 360 is for kids and teens so thats why you probably feel the xbox is so popular, ps3 for the most part has an older crowd. Dont let the most popular teen choice sway you about owning a 360 when ps3 is the much better choice, the best combo in gaming is the pc/ps3 comboTotalgym9000

eh metal gear solid 4 was a killer app shifted a fair few more units surrounding its launch and it was probably one of the most talked about games the year it hit the shelves on here and on the street :S there was a crud ton of hype surrounding it aswell.

Ps3's pretty good nowadays a couple year back it was a nightmare but games and the psn itself evolved.Then theres steam it does all what xbl does and then some for gratis :P pretty lucky i have a few friends who play PC now seen myself fraggin it up on css orgarrys mod with them and its as simple as a couple mouse clicks to join em.

CoD:BO on PS3 is nearly the same aswell now.

As a long time Sony gamer, I can't help but agree with you on that point. And their terrible marketing is a symptom of this.
