Just saw an article on Yahoo! about the new 360 model coming out. I only have a PS3, but I think it would be nice to have an XBox 360 to play exclusives. Will this new version be worthy of a purchase or should I get the older models with the price drop?

Nope. Stick to your PS3 and buy more games for it.
People make the mistake of buying an extra console when they can use the money to buy 5-6 new games for their existing one.
That and you already have the equivalent (and more) of hardware already in your PS3.

If you want a 360, then you have 2 options. 1 take advantage of the elite and arcade price drops NOW. OR 2 Get the new model....Look over the game library to determine whether you should get it.

If you want a 360 get one. The new model has the built in Wifi (that everyone thinks is SO important, and a 250 gig hard drive. The build quality has gotten better over the years so if you want to save a few bucks get one of the marked down units if wifi isn't that important. I'd get a new model though.

I think the PS3 is a great system but there are titles on the 360 that I like, and I MOSTLY prefer the multiplats on it. The nice thing is if you have both, you get to choose the better version (when that happens.)

The bottom line is, if you feel like you want two systems and can afford it, Go for it. You may not use both of them all the time but it's nice to have a choice.

good thing MS just calls it "Xbox 360" then. People on here attach slim to it.

but whats the point of buy 5-6 mediocre games for the platform you have when you can buy the gems from another console. despite what you think good games do exist on other platforms shocking i know but it is true
