So long as you don't get DLC, it should be more than enough for saved games. Besides, worst comes to worst, you could use a USB drive. This isn't like the PS3 where you need quite a sum of space to take into accoutn mandatory/optional installs ... :?4GB is not enough

4GB is small.siLVURcross4 GB is just fine. I never used more than 4 GB until they started letting you install your games. It's enough for game saves, some DLC, and a couple XBLA games.
4 GB is trash. I havea 16gig model, and I'm constantly fighting myself to make space for games. I think I have 3gigs left on the thing, I don't have any DLC games saved on it. If all you care about is games, 4 gigs garbage. If all you care about is 4 or 5 games, 4 gigs is fine.
Game saves alone should not take up 13 GBs of space...4 GB is trash. I havea 16gig model, and I'm constantly fighting myself to make space for games. It's amusing you think it's fanboys that in 4GB too small, maybe it's the fact it's actually a small amount, Demos and arcade games will eat that space up pretty swiftlyWaaaaaa......4gb is not enough. Use a flashdrive.
Waaaaaa......20gb is not enough. That is how much the original system launched with.
Waaaaaa......250gb is not enough. Can't please everyone. Especially fanboys in System Wars.
$199 for a 1080p media streaming, Wifi enabled, next gen video game system. Hence why the 360 is kicking butt and taking names right now.

its good enough for game saves and a demo. Also you always have the flash drive option. You just have to be on top of it and you can still have a great 360 experience all at 199.

I just hear all the complaints about the amount of space like it can't be changed later. Rather cheaply might I add. The fact is the 36o is the best system on the market for a price of $199. It can do everthing its older brother can do and the PS3 for that matter.
You want 1080p movies great, you can stream them from a number of sources.
You want wireless connectivity, great you have it.
You want some of the best games this gen, great youve got it.
Yet all the complaints center around something that has nothing to do with actual gaming. How petty.
The small memory complaints do have to do with gaming, if someone wants to download demos and arcade games 4GB is too small.Just like the Wii, PC & PS3? Yup.:)

yea thats what im thinking... when i filled up my 20g 360 i had a ton of music on it and a bunch of DLC.
Let's be more clear. If you only care about RETAIL games. With 4GBs you really don't care too much about DLC, digital games, or demos. It's only 199 and it has 4gb storage. I personally have a large HDD on my 360 but I don't really download dlc or store music or videos or do installs. I just play games.

I do care about games. Limbo, Hydro Thunder, the new Laura Croft game and a slew of other Live Arcade games wont fit on 4 gig of memory. You can also forget about extra game content like map packs, extra levels, etc. No, 4 gig is not good unless you just want bare bone offerings....and there is not much fun in that.
[QUOTE="siLVURcross"]4GB is small.bphan
I said if you only care about games. 4gb is plenty for game saves.
You don't even get a full 4gigs as it turns out, you get 2gigs after everything is done from what I have researched...not that it matters, 4gigs is small. Even you don't have this 4gig model.
LIVE makes Xbox 360 a full experience, and LIVE is pretty gimped when you are trying to DL XBLA games or DLC for your retail games, and you run out of space. I'm not even talking about GOLD yet...
There is a limit to the external storage, and game saves get really hefty, not to mention games like Rockband eating up that save space.
I think it's a terrible model personally, and I would always recommend the pricier 360 model model every time, the arcade is a ripoff, and the consumer will end up spending more money trying to fix the faults of the unit.
If you only care about games, any console is really great. My main thing with the 4gb arcade model is whats going to happen with games liek FOrza 3 that require you to download a disc to get the stuff on it? What about those 2gb Arcade games?

4GB is small.siLVURcross4 GB is just fine. I never used more than 4 GB until they started letting you install your games. It's enough for game saves, some DLC, and a couple XBLA games. That all depends on what DLC and games you want. For example, a game like Fallout 3 has around 2GBs of DLC. Because more and more games are re-releasing as GOTY editions that include DLC and/or DLC codes, there's more reason to have a 360 with an HDD. Games like FFXIII and Forza 3 have content locked out if you don't have the space to install the extra discs. To be fair, most people buying these Arcade models may not be interested in these core games.

Even then, you may find GOTY editions of games that include all previous DLC. Borderlands and BF:BC2(already out) are doing that this year. I would expect DLC for Borderlands to take up a relatively large amount of space, while content like map packs for the average shooter is too small to matter. It's only 199 and it has 4gb storage. No person who really cares about playing many games could be content with it. You'd be constantly deleting things off of it.[QUOTE="Mystic-G"][QUOTE="bphan"]

I really think MS needs to suck it up adn just offer a 60gb HDD on the arcade model. Hell, 120gb would be perfect.

You're right, it's more like a 360, where you need to install your games completely to avoid the system self destructing.
