The game is $15 on XBLA and there is no signing up for any site with the free version. There is a download link right here. Click it, download it, and play it.

Speaking on the subject of the ability of a console to do something out of the box, it is a progressive idea, meaning you would be able to use that feature of the console whenever you want.

Saying xbox has out of the box functionality...is saying xbox has the ability to play games online out the box as a feature of the console.

Saying xbox has a 1 month free sub to play games online...is just saying you are given a tral to try out a feature thats not actually apart of what comes with the console out the box.

Let me put it to you like this Microsoft would never market xbox360 has having 'out the box' online functionality because THEY WOULD GET SUED! It has that kind of understanding and meaning with the general public. Once that month was up and the console no longer had the ability to play games online it would be considered false advertising.
