$50 bucks for a controller that I would probably replace anyway in a year because controllers break VS $300+ for a system just purchased over XMAS....Hmm which would I feel more slighted about.[QUOTE="asmallchild"][QUOTE="PS3_3DO"]yeah...it looks much more attractive to have another optical disc device hanging off on the side attached via a cable It will look even better when you have a black version of the 360 w/HDMI with some white version of the HD-DVD add on octopussing out of your entertainment center. Hmm...so you're a glutton for punishment and a bit dense as well. It's okay. I'm a charitable fellow so I'll spell it out for you. Immersion sued two companies. One was Sony. Sony settled today. They paid up. They got to use Immersion technology. Can you guess the other company that uses Immersion technology and had to pay $26 million cash and $9 million in stock shares? Do you need a hint? Hmm? ...You both realize that I WILL enjoy my new games on my current 360 even when the Zephyr comes out? No extra $$$ needed to take FULL advantage of new games. You however, will be dishing out an additional $50 just to enjoy everything offered by new games w/rumble on the PS3.

I would dish out 50 bucks if i didnt enjoy my experience without rumble but thats not the case so Ill stick with what i got til the time comes when i need a new controller....u on the other hand wont be able to take the full advantage of HD for ur games without HDMI and when the time comes to finally upgrade youll be spending 300+ dollars for it.

Pretty much right for once.PS3_3DO will be fine, hes used to it by now. He gets owned by rational thinkers and fanboys of all stripes. How can I not take advantage? VGA cables are like $30 and they do 1080p. Some games can do 1080p over component so where is the superiority of HDMI? No upgrade needed to play new games at their best. I get to enjoy everything out the box, you all don't even have HD cables in your box for Christ's sake, yet you have a fricking blu-ray drive in that thing! Prior planning is a wonderful thing when it is used right, especially when you have a year to play catch up.[QUOTE="wingman3030"][QUOTE="PS3_3DO"][QUOTE="iwo4life"][QUOTE="PS3_3DO"]yeah...it looks much more attractive to have another optical disc device hanging off on the side attached via a cable It will look even better when you have a black version of the 360 w/HDMI with some white version of the HD-DVD add on octopussing out of your entertainment center. I know you suckers are going to buy that new PS3 controller good luck with that. As for me the 360 is just fine and I will get an HDTV with VGA so why do I need to buy a new one again.......Oh that's right I don't.

You're right can't reason with diehard Sony Fanboys. It's like talking to a wall.
I thought HDMI wasnt needed?...but of course MS isnt copying Sony at all...no, this is an original idea that MS thought of before Sony was even concieved...:roll:Viviath
It isn't unless you want to watch HD movies and that is not MS fault. You can Blame Hollywood movie studios.

Well its a good thing I like to watch HD movies. Also your precious VGA connection does not do 1080p on a lot of sets properly. People cry about the new B/C issue with the euro PS3 but its funny how GS didn't do a "Gut Reaction" regarding people who can't properly use 1080p with MS's current hack job solution.I already have a hd tv and the componet cables plugged into the back of the reciever. I need HDMI why?http://www.gizmocafe.com/blogs/gizmo_cafe_blog/archive/2007/01/05/101903.aspx
