Here is the list of "EXCLUSIVE" titles for both the PS3 and XBOX 360. As you can tell the PS3 is being demolished by the 360's exclusive lineup. Ya the 360 did have a head start but still the 360 was pushing out more exclusives around launch than what the PS3 has. Also this list only has exclusive games on it so games like Full Auto 2 (PSP), Saints Row (PS3), Virtua Fighter 5 (360) and all of the PC multiplatform games are not on it.

FFXIII, FFvXIII, White Knight Story, MGS4, God of War III, Eight Days, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Ratchet and Clank Futures....there are plenty of good PS3 exclusives.

GeOW - legit AAA exclusive

Oblivion - now on PS3

GRAW franchise - now on PS3

R6 Vegas - also on PS3

PDZ - questionable score

Taken in context, the 360 headstart hasn't given it that big of a portfolio boost. With the games I listed, PS3 will give the 360 plenty of competition.

It depends on what you like. Personally, I'm liking the look of Drake's Fortune and Metal Gear Solid 4, though Mass Effect and Forza 2 will also most certainly be good.

Of course, the franchise is now on the PS3 as well, but it wasn't always like that. GRAW (original) is a AAA exclusive. The other versions carry the name but aren't the same game, and were scored as such. The Ubisoft games are better on the 360 anyway - it is their lead platform.

And you may be just jealous that Epic, who cows were so pumped for giving them Unreal 2007, now get the worst version of Unreal 3 as well as miss out on the GOTY of last year.

Oblivion was also on PC at launch, but een going with that, the 360 version is better than the PS3 version. Of course, the PC version is the best - and you can still use a Xbox 360 controller with it if you wish.

1) Oblivion is better on PS3, not 360. It got docked on GS .1 for sound, which makes no sense. It is common knowledge that the PS3 version runs smoother, has faster load times, and looks better. If you go look on gametrailers, you will find evidence.

2) Of course Oblivion wasn't always on PS3...because the PS3 wasn't out yet. And if the PS3 had been out at the time of GRAW's release, you can bet that it would have been out on PS3 too.

So you're going to cling on to a few exclusives that were released on 360 because the PS3 wasn't out yet to show that the 360 is superior? Pretty weak argument, if you ask me.

TC, I think some of them games on your 360 list that are actual on the PS3 also or coming to, but only a few. Other than the only defense for the PS3 is that alot of thos 360 games are a waste of time while some of them a truely golden games, and the fact that the PS3 is a year late.

FFXIII, FFvXIII, White Knight Story, MGS4, God of War III, Eight Days, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Ratchet and Clank Futures....there are plenty of good PS3 exclusives.

That is in retrospect after the generation was over. What put the PS2's library over the Xbox wasn't just that one year headstart, but its performance over 5, 6 years. Your man (the TC) is claiming that the 360 is "destroying" the PS3's lineup, but this is the beginning of the generation. Will he be able to say that at the end of the generation?

That's a huge question mark. We don't know yet.

Furthermore, the Xbox could have had plenty more time to match the PS2's library, but MS killed the console prematurely to make room for the 360. The PS2, on the other hand, just released God of War 2.

...you mean the same "garbage" hardware that can push just as good-looking graphics as PS3 games?

And PS3 doesn't have Halo 3, so I guess it will lose (following your logic)
