so weight > everything else
IS THAT WHAT YOU'RE SAYING
I MEAN MY GOD

i love the lightness of the ps3 controller = weight > everything? howd you come to that conclusion? :?
PS3 has that fancy six axis thing going for it... But other than that, the 360 feels and controls better - period. Only people who will argue are either A) utter and complete Sony fanboys, B) fighting game junkies (who should be using custom sticks anyways).AfterShafterControls better my Butt, what with the rubbish D Pad? Im sorry but the amount of rubbish you just spouted is horrendous. I like both a lot but i have more issues with the 360 controller than i do the PS3 controller so my vote is to the PS3 controller. Issues i hate the Dpad, i dont like the face buttons they do not feel right. Then again playing GEOW2 recently they have been fine!
oh who teh hell even uses the D-pad anymore, fighting games thats it - but i still use the sticks like the arcade
yes it's crap but i can't remember the last time i used it accept to quickswap weapons in fallout
and it gets UP DOWN LEFT RIGHT pretty good just not so much the in betweens
You know what they say about small hands....8=D360. It just fits perfectly in my hand. ^^
Except when playing Guitar Hero, but that's what the peripheral is for.

360, the only thing I prefer on the PS3 controller is the d pad and tbh I never use that anyways as Ive never been huge into fighting games.
The 360 is intentionally designed better. Yet I am comfortable enough with the PS3 controller and I find it more convenient:
I don't need to rely on batteries for my PS3 controller and I have no problem with the analog sticks or overall design. The 360 analog sticks are better simply for being pressed in and the triggers are better too. I notice none of this when actually playing a game though.
The resistance on DS2 is far superior to DS3 and that's my only complaint with the PS3 controller. As for the triggers, stupid design but I have no issues.
By the way, anyone have a problem with my text? Too bright?
360 Controller - Built for Comfort
PS3 Controller - Built for Performance
But none are BuiltFord Tough
Reading isn't a strong suit of System Warriors. I find the Dualshock 3 to be more that good enough for my needs. I haven't use the 360 controller, so I can't say which is better, but it does look more comfortable. It also looks better for games that use the triggers mainly(racing games). On the other hand, the DS3 is better for 2D games(fighters, platformers like LBP). People say that the DS3 sucks for FPS, but I disagree. Even though I became used to it , I did have trouble using the R2 button to throw grenades in Killzone 2.Old poll?
DS3, more sensitive and better button/stick layout.

i am so use to using the ds so i picked it. the 360 controler is good but i like symetrical analogue stick placement the sholder buttons and triggers feel better, sixaxis works well is some games (rachet and clank, kz2)i miss shooting freethrows with my sixaxis in nba2k. the d-pand can't be beat and the rechargable controller is the icing on the caked for me. however i do like the 360 convex sticks better. but overall the ds3 is better.
The 360 has the better controller, without a doubt. It's only real flaw is the D-pad. Otherwise, it's extremely confortable, has the best button layout, nice analog sticks, and the best triggers.
The Dual Shock, however, is an extremely dated design that Sony refuses to change, for whatever reason. The analog sticks are terrible, and the fact that they are positioned right next to each other makes playing very awkward. Also, the triggers are slippery and way too small. I love the PS3, but Sony's adimance to stick with the same tired design really shot them in the foot, I think. I would probably never buy a multiplat for PS3 because it will always control better on the 360 (for me, at least). This is a problem that Sony absolutely needs to address with the PS4.

Own both consoles, prefer the playstation mostly, but the 360 has the better gamepad. However, even though the ps3 pad doesn't always perform as well as I'd like, it is adequate for all games. On the other hand, I won't even bother to play Super Street Fighter 4 on the 360 controller--the dpad is that lousy.
