The Wii.
On a more serious note, the 360.

Actually the wii may use DVD for medium but it can't play DVD movies. Maybe next gen Nintendo? 2015 the Nintendo console can finally play DVD movies!! YAY!! Oh and it cant do shaders either , at all. It has to combine multiple texture layers together to simulate shader effects. It has Hardware Accelerated Transformation and Lighting ... which is roughly comparable to a Geforce2 circa 2001. DirectX7 baby, now were talking! wooo that's some heavy hardware! All Joking aside the WII is a bit less powerful then a first gen xbox. It has the same speed CPU (but xbox1 cpu was stornger pentium 3 was a beast for its time!) and The xbox had a custom Geforce3 chip the first gpu with Shaders. Wii is using a souped up gamecube Cpu and GPU - suped up in speed not functions like programmable shaders or anyhing good like that. Hence why nintendo probalby makes 75% profit off every console sold.[QUOTE="Midnightshade29"][QUOTE="DJ_Headshot"]the wii uses dvd to :| and no it can't handle higher shader infact it can't handle any graphical effect higher then a 360Burning-Sludge
Why does a game console need DVD play back? I use game consoles to play games not to watch movies. Why would I care if it did because I could get a real DVD player for less than 40$? That's even less then a new Wii game.
Less crap piled around the tv.
