Since the PS3 price drops I think it will be the console that will sell the most on holiday season. Many of the buyers are choosing the Ps3 for it blu-ray compatibility and the pricing of it, which in my opinion 399 for a ps3 with blu-ray capability sounds more than a great buy. There are rumors xbox is developing a new xbox 360 that will have a built-in hd player, wi-fi, a new xbox interface as well as some add-ons. Do you think this is true?
Possibly. As long as the price doesn't go up above the current prices (279.99, 349.99, and 449.99), I don't see any drawbacks.
I believe only 25% of TV owners have HDTVs, so I don't really think having a HD movie player is nearly as big of an asset as everybody makes it out to be.

theyve had 3. core, premium, and elite. core is premium w/o hdd. so really 2. not counting bundles and limited editions cause those are the same things with different colored cases. ps3 has had 20gb,40gb,60gb,and 80gb so ps3 has more.

walmart sells hd-dvd players for $98 so the cheap blu-ray buyers may reconsider this holiday............im_different
Maybe more like $279+$179=$458, that's being nice to the 360 seeing that this doesn't even include WiFi, a HDD, and Media readers. It's past your bedtime troll.

Yeah I forgot to add the mega version would also need the built in wifi and a 120GB heck make it 200GB hard-drive...and a juicer. I don't know that I would want it black though. I like the old white one just fine.

Wow I totally agree. Every time they keep making updates and stuff to reduce overheating and stuff. They probably rush through it to release it before ps3 that it haves technical issues and doesnt have all of the addons ps3 haves included.
