[QUOTE="azell07"]hehehe if you going to start a "possible spec" about a system, at least include gpu info noob. Etherninty
There's no gpu, it's using the main processors to render the graphics, something with Intel 4x4 and DirectX 11. I'm not kidding.
Then you're wrong.
IBM has a raytracing demo for PS3>
On the Playstation 3 running Linux, six of the Cell Broadband Engine's eight SPEs are available and are deployed for ray tracing. The RSX graphics chip normally used to compute images sits idle as 720p or 1080p frames are computed by software and sent directly to the framebuffer. Furthermore, the user can navigate through the scene with the PS3 controller.

Imagine like 10 cells in PS4 with a GT200:)
8g ram? thats more than a hardcore pc ram and consoles always have waaay less than pc's at the same time period, they run on it more efficiently. as for now a pc with 2 gigs is great and 4g is insane. consoles only have 512mb not even 1gig. so just no. you'd be lucky to see consoles with 2gig ram. hopefully taht is standard
and halo 4 as launch title? please god no :P thats just stupid "finish the fight" bs its going to keep going into mediocrity (as if it hadn't gone far enough)
Comming as soon as December next year (Sony is so... late :)
Code name : Xbox 444-Main processors 4x4 cores
-DirectX 11 supporting RAY TRACING
-2x4 gigs of RAM
-Blu-Ray drive
-Microsoft Holodeck (what is that?)
Official launch title : Halo 4Etherninty
Halo = Not exist but otherwise i like what i see not that there anywhere near true. I mean no console need's 8GB RAM and 4 quad core processors.

No, do you know how expensive that would be? It would make the PS3 seem like a $1 bargain bin console :|thronesNow that would be sweet.

what the hell is a frekin holodeck and no ive never seen star trekjaisimar_chelseIt was basically a room on the ship that could simulate practically any environment you wanted. It was the ultimate 24th century analog to the video game. Unfortunately a common plotpoint was to have it malfunction and someone dying or getting hurt. (you'd think Starfleet would ban them after the first couple dozen times this happened)

Would that be the 24th century equivalent to RRoD and Starfleet is just in denial ?
Just asked for some more infos, apparently the Microsoft Holodeck is a device using some kind of infra-red laser technology to catch all the moves the player makes IRL, either while standing up or sitting. When sitting, it looks at hands for movements and face for expressions, while standing up it looks at all the body. One Microsoft Holodeck supports as many player that can fit in a 5x5 feet square and you can hook up 4 to the console.Etherninty
 this is just too much! You lost all crediability when you said it would have a blu-ray player and not only that Halo 4!.
