Using the 8000 series as base was always expected really and the only logical thing

Some other stuff like the dual GPU and 120MB EDRAM are a bit too much though, but you never know

360 has been a vast success for them and i am sure they will want 720 to last even longer, so they may go all out

BTW the 120MB EDRAM makes perfect sense if they want a system to last and cover the upcoming 4K resolution HDTVs

They call it the 720 because that's the resolution they won't be able to passwis3boi

It is 16MB for 720p full buffer, and 4K is 4 times 1080p, so it is 16x2x4 = 128MB for 4K

Developing a 4k console game is way too expensive for anyone. 1080p is the standard for next-gen. Since all 3 consoles will pretty much be on par with each other, you are better off getting a Wii U.

Besides that, it's another LE thread, you guy really need to realise that MS is after the causuals, it's pretty much confirmed that they bundle the system with Kinect 2.0

Xbox 720 seems to be vastly more powerfull than WiiU and PS4, it is so funny that MS has already won next gen as IGN stated
