Xbox 720 is coming Fall 2012, here is why.

1. They don't want to give Nintendo a head start, they want to beat Sony a whole year.

The 360 got a huge boost thanks to launching first. They would be foolish to also let Nintendo get a HUGE head start on them. They also want to beat Sony a whole year to the Market again. They would be follish not to do this again. EVen though the 360 is selling so well, they could let the new system and 360 co-exist just like the ps2-ps3 did.

2. Tons of sources said they will unveil at e3 2012

Every major site last week had sources saying they will for sure unveil it next e3 to steal nintendos thunder. Even EVERY editor here at GameSpot predicted that the 720 will be unveiled next year last week in last week's "e2 2012 predictions" article.

3. The exclusive's for the 360 in 2012 are nowhere to be found.

I loved the 360, but its time to move on. If it launches in fall 2012, it will have been 7 years old. There isn't nothing left to squeeze out. I am sick of this old hardware. These things are dinosaurs now. I think the dated hardware is effecting dev creativity. wii720 for 2012 will be awesome

I'm still convinced that Halo 4 will be a launch title for the new xbox. You don't have to believe me, but think about how much of an impact that would make on the launch of a new console. It would literally guarantee an extremely successful launch.

Halo 4 is announced for 2012 on Xbox 360.

Considering Halo 4 is slated for a fall 2012 release on the 360, I don't see a 2012 release for the next Xbox. Fall 2013 however, may be a realistic date. They certainly won't be rushing it.

This thread is complete fail based on the fact Sony is in no rush for their next console. The need a couple more years in operating in the black to recover their losses. The reality is neither MS or Sony our in a rush; they don't care if a minority of "hardcore" gamers are not happy with the graphics if people are still buying.

I dont see why MS would need a new system when they have 3x the coming exlusives than PS3 and sell the best each month

Of course if you dont like amazing games like Withcer 2 and want to play the limited Mass Effect 3 version you can always get a super PC and PS3 for 2000$ than a 199$ 360 that plays them both

I dont care about Witcher 2 ports, Ive already finished the original on my PC, I dont care about kinect support for ME3 and Im not gonna argue about number and quality of 360 vs PS3 exclusives lineup since its off topic here, so I will just express my oppinion that your statement on this matter is ridiculous. Howgh.

Yet, 360 gets Withcer 2, Dark Souls, FF13-2, Mass Effect 3 Kinect, Ryse, Fable Journey, Skyrim etc making it the by far best choice in gaming overall

Skyrim isn't even a xbox 360 exclusive it's also on PC and PS3:lol: neither is Dark Souls FF13-2, and Mass Effect 3. Kinect doesn't make it exclusive by that logic Razer Hydra makes Portal 2, L4D1/2, and World of Goo PC exclusive.

The point is that 360 gets everything, PC does not get Dark Souls or FF13-2, PS3 does not get Witcher 2 or Torchlight, Bastion and none of them gets Gears, Halo, Fable, Ryse etc
