i hope it comes in 2012, It'd be sad if they concentrated on Kinect though, if they keep a kinect a add on and not the main focus then I can see myself owning a microsoft console for the first time. I like to change it up a bit, I've had Nintendo, sony, pc but never a xbox.

I would not list jokes like Uncharted 3 either, but still people do list it as a good game, when in fact looks dated and is a 6 hour linear boredom

I highly doubt MS would release the Xbox720 after the red ring issue that affected literally 50% of all Xbox 360's the year it was revealed. They will probably release the system in mid to late 2013 or even into2014. They probably want to make sure that the hardware doesn't cause an issue for the console this time.

That's just a fact. PS3 has 18 AAEs total to the 360's 17... PS3 has 9 AAAEs total to the 360's 8.

That's looking at the total lifetime of the two systems, but if you look at just the last few years the results are even more disturbing. Since 2008, the PS3 has had 9 AAAEs, for instance, and the 360 has had 4.

It's true the 360 will always have a few PC/360 games that the PS3 doesn't, but lately the PS3's been picking up the best Wii games at the same time... games like Dead Space Extraction, No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise, House of the Dead Overkill and Tales of Graces.

Either way, you can't go wrong with these two great systems.

Its pretty simple. Microsoft will want to beat Sony a whole year like before, while not giving Ninty a big headstart. This is a smart business decision. All of the sources have said e2 2012 will be the reveal, and there are no 360 exclusives for 2012 in sight. Add 2+2 together. The Xbox 720 will launch Fall 2012.

I loved the 360, but its time to move on. If it launches in fall 2012, it will have been 7 years old. There isn't nothing left to squeeze out. I am sick of this old hardware. These things are dinosaurs now. I think the dated hardware is effecting dev creativity. wii720 for 2012 will be awesome

To be honest I would be happier if it didnt come to PS3. Its great game, together with Demons Souls the best RPG of this gen imo, but Im afraid console ports will be terrible and it will be a taint on the Witcher franchise. They should maybe wait for next gen to bring Witcher franchise to consoles.

To be honest I would be happier if it didnt come to PS3. I can see that happening. The 720 launches in 2012 with a core launch lineup and stunning graphics that runs a custom version of Windows 8. Is backwards compatible due to Windows 8 being able to play 360 games. However he 360 is sill supported by Microsoft, it gets a price drop and its focus is kinect and aimed at casuals.

M$ will most likely announce the 720 at next years E3 and release it in 2013 sometime. The 360 is still doing VERY well despite being the eldest of the current gen consoles. I don't see M$ investing billions into another launch with their current system still profiting.

Im not biased for any company, when next gen comes, I will choose the best system no matter which one will it be just as I did this gen with PS3, but honestly, if nextbox will be running on WINDOWS, that would scare me off easily :lol: Luckily that is only hypothetic matter because Im sure MS isnt stupid enough to put windows in it.

Not Windows as in the full thing, but at a core level for ease of development. The upcoming 360 dashboard update has a Windows 8-style interface, so having the next Xbox literally use Windows 8 as the backend to some degree would make sense.

Wouldnt it unnecessarily bottleneck the performance? I think some simple OS thats much closer to the hardware (lower level) would be more suitable for a gaming console.

Just because that MS may be first announcing a next gen console in E3 2012, doesn't mean that they will release it in that same year. Keep that in mind.

Of course if you dont like amazing games like Withcer 2 and want to play the limited Mass Effect 3 version you can always get a super PC and PS3 for 2000$ than a 199$ 360 that plays them both

So, i know PC and PS3 are getting the short end lately, but dont be so desparate about it, you can always grab yourself a 360

I dont care about Witcher 2 ports, Ive already finished the original on my PC, I dont care about kinect support for ME3 and Im not gonna argue about number and quality of 360 vs PS3 exclusives lineup since its off topic here, so I will just express my oppinion that your statement on this matter is ridiculous.
