Thats really cool, even if its just partial access - P90X is ~$150 and Insanity is about the same, so to receive them for free is very cool.

I would love to give Jillian Michaels a good workout.
I feel genuinely bad for anyone who got suckered into doing P90x or Insanity. Ninja-HippoResults are great for cardio workouts, I am loving it. Good 45 minutes every morning 6 days a week from Insanity has gotten me in great shape. I am not trying to build mass or I would hit the weights. Just want to tone up and get fit. Most people just can't stick with it.
This. I feel bad for anyone who actually paid for those programs. You're much better off doing research and you'll get much better results in the gym. Or you could buy your own weights and not use crappy machines at a gym like most people do[QUOTE="Ninja-Hippo"]I feel genuinely bad for anyone who got suckered into doing P90x or Insanity. ImBatman-

Wtf! People still think P90x/Insanity are viable starting points for any form of bodybuilding? Push/Pull/Leg split or gtfo. OT: So this is what MS get up to instead of securing indie titles and building a half decent first party and in between wrecking their own first parties (rare/remedy am cry for you).StriateEndAlso this. When I first started I ran a legs/push/pull/off repeat split and made great gains. A little research goes a long way.

I grew up in the country. I went to school with kids who barely had what would qualify as shoes, but by god they had a camaro.

All you really need is a power rack, barbell, adjustable bench and enough weights for the barbell to go up to a few hundred lbs.. But it's still an investment of a couple thousand dollars. It'd take 5-10 years for it to be worth versus the cost of most gym memberships, and most have added benefits and features as well[QUOTE="XxR3m1xInHDn3D"] Or you could buy your own weights and not use crappy machines at a gym like most people do XxR3m1xInHDn3D
[QUOTE="BoxingandGaming"][QUOTE="RR360DD"]Hmmm .... how long before Sony copies this LOLRR360DDSony is too concerned with focusing on actual gaming related things.... (Like innovative PS4 share features that are specific to gaming, play while you download features etc) Sony puts gaming at the forefront of their priorities Ya know, a concept that is foreign to Microsoft. I bet you Microsoft is going to copy those PS4 features from Sony too. Sony is also too busy showing off more games than the xbone and pushing indies *burn* Its funny you would even say what you did, When the fact is, the kinect is nothing but a copy cat of the PS2 eye toy. Microsoft always copying Sony, just like how they copied Sony with DVD/Blue Ray/Slim Model etc. Except Microsoft stole Sony's motion sensing camera idea, made it worse with Kinect, and than put it (the Kinect) at the forefront of their anti-consumer, over priced, under powered xbone. Yes, Sony still has the eye toy, but Sony keeps it as a secondary focus to GAMES/GAMING, the way it should be. THANK YOU SONY:) (IF not for Sony, all we would be getting in gaming currently is weak hardware/Gears/Halo/Forza/Mario,kinect,and Nintendo gimmicks) If you are honest and in touch with reality you know im speaking 100% truth And yet Sony are scrambling trying to copy all Kinects features  Yeah, thats exactly the case if you ignore reality You xbots truly are delusional The Kinect was nothing but a copy cat of the PS2 eye toy. You seem to conveniently forget that There is also the fact Microsoft tries to shove Kinect down our throat. Sony is not trying to shove the eye toy down any one's throat ENOUGH SAID

Hi there. Not a question for you TC, but one for MS from me, Senior Lab Technician for Exercise Physiology at a Major University. :
How the hell can Kinect2 measure Heart Rate? Apparently it does so by skin temperature? If true, there's just no way it's accurate. Seriously, the option to buy a Polar bluetooth strap would be far more intelligent. A person serious about their training wouldn't pay a blind bit of attention to any HR Kinect reported if that was it's method.
[QUOTE="BoxingandGaming"]Its also been proven Microsoft pays shills to FUD forums. Its such a despicable practice by Microsoft.superclockedLike Sony doesn't do the same thing.. Some of these cows are entirely too ridiculous to be mere fanboys... What does Sony have to do with anything.I was talking about Microsoft Such a desperate attempt to deflect on your part....."nu uh...Sony is jsut as bad too" You are pathetic. 1st off, NO, Microsoft is MUCH MUCH worse and its been proven over and over again There is this: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fear,_uncertainty_and_doubt#Microsoft *edit* copy and paste the whole thing^ dont know why gamespot cut the link short* Also the fact Microsoft is in bed with the NSA. The very fact Microsoft tried to take away gamers consumers rights with their extreme anti-consumer always online DRM schemes. Microsoft only pulling the plug on it at the last second because they were losing pre-order sales Somy in gaming has NEVER EVER done anything 10% as bad as Microsoft's always online DRM schemes... You are just a deluded xbot in complete denial Thankfully your kind is dying out! More and more xbox fanboys continue to make the switch to the Playstation family by the day! Secondly, even if someone were as bad as Microsoft, that doesnt excuse Microsoft of what they have done. It would be like saying "this guy murdered your brother, but who cares, you see that guy over there, he is a criminal too, so your brothers murderer is going free" Like all of the 4 remaining xbots on system wars who have yet to make the switch to the Playstation, you lack basic logic and critical thinking

They use the pulsations in heat of the cappillaries in your faces (or double-chins) to give a fairly accurate heart rate reading, provided you don't suffer from vasculary diseases.[QUOTE="superclocked"][QUOTE="BoxingandGaming"]Its also been proven Microsoft pays shills to FUD forums. Sorry mate, I can't stand stuff like this. It's basically a lie. It's not measuring heart rate, it's estimating it. Estimating HR from Skin Temperature.... I don't remember reading about that in The Lancet.

This home, does it have a bench press? squat rack? decline bench? dumbbells to 60kg? treadmill? cycle ergometer? bio impedance analysis machine? chin up bar? enough weights for a 150kg deadlift?
Hmm.
But I'll play devil's advocate - the gym costs money, you have to travel there, it can be intimidating etc.

I have all of that stuff except cycle ergometer, treadmill, and analysis device.... which are not required at all (jogging and steps bro).
A benchpress and squat rack all in one aren't that expensive. The weights are also cheap (300+ for Deadlift).

Wow man. That was really really awesome. Good job. I am better educated about available technology now.
There was one part in the video which really hit home for me, and that was Christian Bale breathing. It's subtle, but you can tell the heart rate is slightly faster when he breathes in, compared to breathing out - this is physiologically normal and I expected it (respiratory sinus arhythmia), so seeing it like that is very convincing that the technology works. That pretty much convinced me that the pulse rate of a human could be measured, not estimated, but literally measured directly from video footage.
Thanks heaps RR360DD, that was very very impressive. Assumming Kinect2 has this ... wow. That's like, the easiest non-invasive way I have ever seen to directly monitor physiological effort. Fitness games will be amazing on the system.

Damn, that's a good set up. Attached is a quick pic of what I've got.
Squat rack, adjustable bench, basic stuff.
