Dude, trying to debate with you will make one have an aneurysm. You keep in changing the narrative to make your side of the argument look legit.
1. Maybe we/you was discussing sales but what I quoted you on was when you stated that “the ps5 no longer have exclusives“, I pointed out both Returnal and R&C because as of now they’re both are still exclusives.
2. You no longer was talking about reasons to buy by saying “I’m not letting you cows forget that just because the ps5 haven’t got them anymore“. It’s in the very exact post that we’re quoting, and it can be clearly seen that you was talking exclusives.
3. Dude, I was quoting you, not stating. I clearly said that I’m not speaking about the future now, as we all don’t know what the future holds. Word is that Ragnarok, GT7, and H:FW was supposed to be ps5 exclusives, but seeing how constrained the production of ps5 were initially, Sony decided to make those games cross-gen to potentially make up on profit because they knew that those games would more than likely fall on their faces after seeing the poor sales of Returnal and R&C which were and still is exclusive to the ps5.
My narrative is the same.
1. You did it again. "no longer" means incoming games for me. And since it's you questioning me. My interpretation is what matters.
2. "because the ps5 haven’t got them anymore". If you're going to take my words literally, take them literally. Anymore means that since those two games you mentioned, there has been no single system exclusives. Sometimes I do chose my words on purpose and "anymore" was on purpose, with the implication as I have stated.
What happened is, you are attaching your own interpretation to my use of language. "anymore" to you means that "all that was, is no more" as if to encompass the whole time period of the PS5s games. My use was literally to mean that from a stated point (since those games), there seems to be no more exclusives.
For example in 2016, I would have said "Forza Motorsport isn't exclusive anymore" because it went to the PC. "PS5 doesn't seem to be getting exclusives anymore". Do you see what I mean? That is what I meant, but the original sentence was poorly written, I admit that looking back.
This isn't me debating, or arguing. Now I understand where you found the problem, this is me now explaining what I meant when I used those words.
3. I don't think Ratchet sold poorly. I heard it sold well, could be wrong. I personally think it was a mistake to make GT7 cross gen. As a sim, GT7 should have been a tech showcase for the PS5, especially considering how infrequently GT games are released.
I think now sales are high enough, PS5 could actually get "some" system exclusive AAAs again. But the problem is, the games cost so much to make. I'm not sure how long Sony can hold off PC releases.
