I tried both and i really dont see any difference. They are both organized well. So why does everyone say xbox live is better?

If ur going to say that live is more organized than please say the reason.

I really think it is just fanboy stupidness that says live is better. Live sucked in its first few years and it took 5 years to get it right. PSN is good and it can still use some improvement but most folks want to shoot it down as if Live was what it is now from day one.

Both are great

yes agree, both have the same functionality like bluetooth headset, friend list, invitations and more. totally same. once gain, really no difference, live has what psn has and psan has wat live has. except live costs money.

Any publication, developer, user will tell you that Live is the more reliable and larger infastructure as its easily intergrated into majority of its games. Its isn't just about online play, but its accessiblity options ranging from communicative features to extended dashboard configurations.

The major difference with Live is that everyone has a headset and all games are online enabled in some way.

PS3 users have headsets too and not all games are online in 360 and same goes for ps3.

PSN is probably the same or only a notch down, not really a difference only expences.

Just putting aside that not all the PS3 titles are even Voice chat enabled. The first time you have to exit your game to check an invite or your messages on PSN is like a splash of cold water to the face for regular XBL users. I have also recieved free tv shows, movies, games and won a freefull retail title in an achievement point contest (that I traded in for a better game)that they held a few months back.

Is that enough of a difference for you?

Thanks for replying to nothing I said, it's ok, I know people on the outside can never understand. I would think it's stupid also if I didn't have the service. Fourteen cents a day seems pretty cheap to me.

Riverwolf You are nuts! paying for crappy P2P service and integrated invites? A 13 month Card costs $50 and you just hand it over like you are made of money. Who cares about demos for games, free tv shows and free movies, PSN is for GAMES not fluff.

*See folks the arguing skills on SW are so incredibly poor that I have to attack my own opinion just to find something that makes any sense at all, PSN is a lost cause as you see the kind of demographic that hangs out on it. Thats why I turn the mike off when I play Warhawk.

i like how i can have a 6 way video chat on the ps3, but i dont have that many friends who are always online. if only 360 had that, or at least 3 way private chats. im sick of putting on of my friends on hold in a private chat just to talk to another.

The simple fact of the matter is that xbox live has money and the Playstation Network doesn't. In time Sony will have to charge its users because otherwise the servers will be too crappy because of the lack in funding. Sony hopes that free internet interaction through the PS3 will rally users to it, but since Halo 3 and COD4 came out we have seen Sony's devastating failure in that department. Currently Sony is shifting its eyes away from Microsoft (no doubt due to the fact that sony is being helped by Microsoft by the new games it has gotten) and is focussing on Nintendo. But I digress; more to the point Sony's network will need money soon or you will start to see a difference in the quality of their connection and speed that is supposed to compete with Xbox Live.
