Xbox Live Crippled.....again!

The issue really isn't weather a service can be hacked, it's how fast they respond to it. When XBL goes down it's usually back up within a reasonable time frame

When PSN goes down it usually takes forever to get back up because Sony's network is ran by a bunch of untrained monkeys.

August this year same hackers hit sony and you lemmings make a parade about it so yeah suck it up XBL sucks it can be bring down by DDOS attacks just like PSN..

No it is about you people thinking that XBL is this impenetrable fortress when in reality hackers have been playing online on xbox live since 2007,accounts have been stolen since 2007 and who knows if early,MS own Major Nelson account was hit,and now XBL come down with DDOS attacks...

the reality is that xbl has worked like a champ for me for over 10 years while psn has floundered about in mediocrity.

until now.

when they changed over to the new system for the bone they fucked it up.

i am literally switching over to the 360 some days in order to get messaging and partys to work correctly then launching the bone games on the old xbl system.

I let my ps+ sub run out and I won't be resubbing to either Live or PSN+ again. I decided long ago that all my online gaming will be done on PC and I'll only use consoles for single player or local coop. Paying those fees isn't worth it to me. I pay the fee and end up barely using it. Same reason why I unsubscribed to WoW and didn't get the xpansion. I'm done with paying fees for gaming outside of games and consoles. I've also never bought dlc in my life.

This is never going to end you guys, it's gonna happen on a weekly basis for both systems, yet you're all going to try to use it as ownage

And while you were paying $50 then $60 a year to play online games with bugs lags and cheaters,i payed nothing and played those same online games with bugs cheater and lag,but since sony networks wasn't under 1 strict umbrella i got from day 1 games wich supported 40 players at once smooth as butter when you people were having nightmares trying to play Gears of lag 4 vs 4.

The reality is that i got games which supported mods and got tons of mods for UT something the xbox 360 version didn't support,that while you could not play Portal 2 co-op with PC we could,that we have a place call Home which gave us our own free space with mini games FREE mean while you were been charge even for netflix and IE.

The reality is that the PS3 hack happen on 2011 and was 26 days on what is a FREE service the PS3 didn't release on 2011 it was almost 5 years by then,and while live account were been hack on 2007 and MS was fighting banning hackers left and right only to have then back the next month that didn't happen on PSN until 2011,and after the 2 months i can it had problems after that it was a smooth ride again.

Cheaters bugs and lag have been part of XBL since before the xbox 360 came Halo 2 was basically the most cheated game online leaving Socom 1 in the dust by a large gap.

Online gaming wise PSN was even better than live when it comes to core gameplay it actually edge it,games liek MAG and Resistance 2 were never match on xbox live..

Maybe PSN should take notes it's only down for 2 hours max. Atleast everyones bank details were safe anyway.

it is pathetic what xbl AND psn has become. if we weren't paying money then i wouldn't care less but we're paying so wtf? Free psn back in ps3 days had no issues (nor did xbl) and now that we're paying $50, every week something happens. What a joke.
