Sixsquad waas being a little mouthy since he's on a mic so alixthegr8 pwned him with healthy( ;)) words of wisdom. Oh yeah, and on Xbox live there are people who live in Florida as do I who can relate to it actually being cold. 40 degrees sucks! :evil:
i disagree, due to the time I've been spending with it... Halo 2's community is far by some of the worst.... I played the game mute everytime I was online
Maybe thats your experience but my experiences with XBL have been like SW with mics: a bunch of morons babbling on like its preschool.Tiefster
I've only run into those tow experiences twice. Both kids about 12 years old who think they know something, example: Some kid kept spamming the mic about how l337 he was, so i told him to stfu and he's like no make me. so then he starts talking about his myspace and how he has to make a payment for it. I say a payment for myspace? Thats wonderful, sure you're not getting ripped off? And he starts calling me some poor **** and I can't afford a digital camera to upload to myspace. So then I told him I could just use a scanner and upload a normal picture, and then he says "sorry i'm not a nerd". I say, because I know how to upload a photo and he starts babbling in a hick country voice mocking me( which i don't even sound country, well just a tiny bit). I asked him how a poor hill billy is a nerd and he started spamming the mics even louder and I couldn't hear anything. At this point I starting going all nuclear cursezor on him, muted him and reported him :)
The world is full of many kinds of people, so therefore XBL and all online games are. But the majority of people are not favorable as any one would have expected.

So far I found out on Xbox Live that the people in the Lost Planet Online Demo are quite nice.. As well as people from the Socom 3 on PS2.ArisShadows
It depends on the game, I wouldn't expect to many 12 year olds on a tacticle M rated game where it takes one shot to kill vs. a game like Halo 2 where it takes 50.

We've lost many a member to CSS, BF2 and WoW :( It's just something that's been a part of my life for so long I don't want to give it up. Plus I don't want to get "pwned" playing as a "n00b" again. The first few months of CS were/are a nightmare for new players.

I love live aswell I just ended a 8-9 hour Rainbow Six Vegas session then ended my live session with a friendly game of Uno. Live is amazingly fun and I really haven't ran across a server packed with immature people I seem to always end up playing with "20 year old "Black" males" and other awesome cool mature people.
Rainbow games tend to have older gamers. Spades tends to have thugs. Uno, um, yeah. Gears is a mix. NBA 2k7 has a good strong community. Depends on the games the type of community. Anyways a lot of us tend to play mostly with friends anyways.

This is exactly why i don't like the xbl community. This kind of thing happens ALL the time! Some kid starts swearing at others and someone comes and pwns him, all laugh at the kid. The kid goes all emo and all others laugh even more. After a while it gets annoying >.>
**** no... I've never left a ranked match halfway through, and I've got bad rep for that. I've had half my team cry because THEY weren't getting kills in Gears, trying to give me 'direction' even though I'm doing better then all of them. I've been left in a ranked match alone, because EVERYONE on my team left and I was going to be a good sport and just play, I got called a locust nooblet because I couldn't take out 4 people 16 times. I've gotten bad rep for trashtalking even though I never use my mic unless I'm playing with my friends or people I know are friendly, no understanding of how I got that then. All the 11-year olds playing Gears of War frighten me, the serial racists. The ****s, there's just too much bad for me to consider the community good. Maybe it'll differ on other games, hopefully.
The XBL community fills me with horror. I have played Halo 2 a few times online and that was enough. I thought the CS community was filled with asshats but they are like shining angels compared to the brainless scum found on XBL.

Luckily I haven't been fortunate to experience that. then you sir, must be playing Hello Kitty Island Adventure. or your not on xbox live at all, cuz the kind of stuff i listed happens on everygame, in like 3 out of 5 matches.
