[QUOTE="Antwan3K"] [QUOTE="AlphaGamer469"] You ever notice that every PSN vs XBL debate ends up with the cows making false claims that PSN is better because of 0 lag, supposed universal dedicated servers for every game and free, watered down service? Socom still has worse issues then GeOW2 has , and it still doesn't expolain how 3 recent releases have had problems with PSN, 2 of them exclusive and why cows seem to attack the multiplat dev, yet give the exclusive devs a free pass...WilliamRLBaker
i take it that you dont own Socom: Confrontation because its server issues have been fixed for quite some time.. yet GeoW2's online problems linger on:
" The matchmaking in Gears of War 2 has come in for a tongue-lashing, with the time it takes to find a match the biggest problem. Players have been reporting anything from 10 minutes to an hour waiting for their party to connect to a game, with some also reporting random disconnects."

and judging form the comments in this thread, massive lag is also a major issue.. the difference?.. between Socom: C and GeoW2, one of these two games got docked a huge amount of points from it's review score here on Gamespot for these issues.. the other game didnt even have these issues mentioned in the "The Bad" section of the review and obviously didnt lose any points from its review score for these issues that are still relevant even as we speak.. guess which is which.. :|
Yeah lets see Socom was patched a week after released because if CRIPLING issues both in single player and online, issues that have only been HALF fixed, Geow2 suffers from issues that only some people experience I've yet to have a laggy game online unless i know the host had like 300kb download which he did cause i know him in real life and multiplayer public match making has never taken more then 5 minutes for me.
Socoms issues were game crippling and obvious, Geow2s aren't game crippling and evident.
so you have played socom? How is the single player?
