[QUOTE="rhaigun"][QUOTE="shungokustasu"][QUOTE="rhaigun"][QUOTE="shungokustasu"] [QUOTE="rhaigun"] No, I'm just saying it would suck to be limited to that. Seeing as that's all you mentioned were Sony's studios. That doesn't even account for the TV shows XBL has.shungokustasu
Umm, You do know Sony produce TV shows too?
That's right. They own my favorites like ATHF, The Daily Show, Scrubs and Jehrico. Oh, wait. They don't.All of which are on Live.
Sienfield, The Boondocks, The Shield, Sopranos, Jeopardy, Days of our lives, Young and the restless, and others are just the in-house TV shows they do. Sony Pictures also have joint production with MTV (which includes Comedy Central and Cartoon Network), NBC, HBO, and Fox. So yeah you in a losing battle her bud. Sony is an intricate part of the television game also.
You lost all credibility with Days of our Lives.I was showing you how deep Sony is in the TV world. It goes deeper with the music industry. Listen, I expect movies, games, music, and TV shows to be in home, not only by Sony studios, but by there partners like NBC, Paramount, Universal, Fox, and many many more. If you really think Xbox live will have a 1up on a company like Sony in the movie and TV business than you well be disappointed down the road...
The funny thing is that Sony, a company with definitly more direct ties to these movies and shows and music....didn't have the downloads at launch, and there doesn't seem to be any movement in that regard.
Yet somehow, MS, a company that had to build relationships that Sony had already built in.... MS was able to get the ball rolling quicker than Sony was.
That tells me that either Sony's online just isn't ready yet, or MS exercised alot more forethought in getting their act together.Â
