PSN for me. I have enough bills and adding another videogame related bill feels....geeky. PSN has improved a lot so I just keep my 360 offline. It also helps me avoid getting RROD.

IMO, i think PSN is better.

OMG, PSN tells you when a friend is online and that makes it equal to XBL....what is the color of the sky in your world?Virtually EVERY multuiplat owner will tell you XBL is way above PSN...

Well now the topic is what are the differences is it not? Again I was just making a point the list I originaly responded to were not all differences as in the friend notification. Obviously you have a hard time reading so you just try and make people look ignorant to hide your own. Not once did I say one was better and I'm not going to. I don't know what part of "What are the differences?" makes you feel the need to respond as if it says " Which one is better?" both are clearly different statements. Friend notification is on both systems is it not? So that's not a difference is it not? You keep on yet really say nothing but argue your opinion.

Maybe you should practice what you preach and read the initial argument. The friend notofocation is used as an enhancement to tre Truematch feature XBL has and PSN doesn't. You didn't even notice that yet resorted to flaming me over it. Come back when you can argue....

What exactly is there to argue about? The topic was about the differences between the two, Navy posted things he made seem only accessable on LIVE which were not all true and I merely pointed out some of those things are not LIVE only even clarified the things that were more in depth on LIVE. The differences between the two are not hearsay or opinion based so I fail to see where the arguement should lie.

I have all 3 systems and XBOX LIVE is so much better that these threads are only to give comfort to those who do not use it. I refuse to buy any multiplayer or multiplat games for my PS3. The PS3 is a great Blu-Ray player with a few nice titles but stop trying to make it more than it is in its current state.sexy_robot_man

PSN's pretty good in my book and a couple of my friends actually prefer it over XBL but hey its opinion that really keeps this board going..Lol at calling people a fanboy yes PSN needs improvement but for a free system what in green hell have you got to complain about it ITS FREE!

If you really did own a PS3, you would've compared the problems. Not posted half-ass responses that are filled with fanboyism.

I say PSN is almost in pair with XBL but XBL still has a little more then PSN. People would argue if the little improvement is worth the yearly fees but that is up the players to decide.

This is probably the best response. XBL has a few features like in-game voice chat and a standard game inviting feature, but there's pretty much no differences after those. There are lag/network problems with both services so in the end it's whether you feel that your $50 is justified.

I have heard many times that xbox live is superior to PSN, I, for starters, dont doubt this statement for I love Xbox live. But if i ever said this for myself i would be one hell of a hipocryte for i havent had the time to "experiment" with PSN, so i have no comment on its quality...

So what im asking for is for opinions from oondividuals who have had some time with each consoles online service.

Please abstain from fanboyism(?) I just want to hear some main diferences.

the voice chat on newly released battlefield 1943 does not work very well so when me and my rl friends want to get in a squad and play we 1st start an xbl party then go in and make our squads and we can work better as a team since we can talk to each other , the party system rocks

it made bf43 a better game when the ea servers failed me

ok maybe 360 is superior with its live vs psn and all this awesome qualities...but for me only 1 quality matters...lag...

dedicated servers on ps3= no lag > 360 live without dedicated servers = lag = fail..no matter how many things live can do...

no lag > over all qualities of live and trophies/achievments/ in game music etc..

because if there is lag in the game, u wont play the game thus u wont listen to ingame music and cross chat and do so much stuff..

XBOX LIVE is superior to PSN, it really is as simple as that.
