Xbox One and PS4 owners - Which do you prefer?

Man, PS4 had the best freaking headstart in the world (plus better multiplats), but right now the Xbox One has the way better games, with Horizon 2, Forza 6, Halo 5, and I was jamming heaps of Sunset Overdrive, may do a bit of Rise of the Tomb Raider too before the end of the year.

PS4 may catch up next year and in the years to come. I wonder if Microsoft blew all their load for this year hahaha.

Wii U because it has great exclusive and actual fun games as opposed to wannabe movies the industry is plaguing us with.

Yeah the XB1 bundle value is great.

I got the XB1 which came with Fallout 4, Gears Ultimate, Rare Replay and Ori for $499 AUD

My PS4 was $650 AUD and came with Bloodborne, Mortal Kombat X, The Order (LOL), DriveClub (USED - LOL) and TLoU (which I already own on PS3).

I prefer Xbone... mainly because of the controller and I prefer the exclusives.

bforrester, could you elaborate on this? My 360 died a few years ago and I never got around to buying one of the new consoles. Based on what I have seen, both XBox1 and PS4 are built for online gameplay, and I am not. Now with this Witcher 3 game and Fallout 4, I think maybe it is time for me to buy again. (Actually, I'm surprised my Gamespot logon still worked!)

The problem is I absolutely do not care about online gaming and all the new games seem to be centered around it. I have looked at plenty of console comparison reviews online and really don't care which of the two has the better graphics, speed, disk space (I only buy a few games a year, so don't ever expect space to be a problem), controller, and especially the physical size, weight, and "prettiness" of the console. All I care about is not having to sign up for a bunch of services that nickel and dime you. I have only had XBoxes in the past but remember all the press when XB1 first came out of how Microsoft was forcing everyone to purchase their online Live Gold crap and that really pissed me off. I think they pulled back after the backlash, but the fact that they even tried it was enough for me to seriously consider Sony for the first time. So... I guess I was wondering why exactly you prefer the Playstation brand "because of single-player games". Any help is appreciated.

@JudgeSmails: Most of Sony's exclusive franchises are built around single-player; Bloodborne, Uncharted, God of War, Ratchet and Clank, Gran Turismo, The Last of Us, etc. While many of those games have multiplayer components, their primary focus on the single-player experience. I'm also not an online gamer, so I don't play shooters and such, but you'll get all of the big multi-platform games on the PS consoles as well.

Play my X1 more than my PS4, but I like both just fine.

Used to be 360 last gen. But come on ps4 is a lot better to hold frame rate and 1080 , elitist PC whatever

Yes, yes he does. I still wear my No Ma'am t-shirt from time to time, but the number of people that recognize it are getting fewer and fewer.

I own both, like both, but like the ps4 way more.

What AAA titles are those that are FREE? I prefer my XB1 for many of the exclusive games like Forza 6, Halo 5, Sunset Overdrive, Gears of War Collection, etc... I still perfer the XB1 controller for playing a lot of my games too. I like the PS4 for it's exclusives as well.

because of b/c, exclusives, controller, XBLG, 3rd party support, plenty of Dude Bro FPS and more importantly NO Freakazoid JRPGs.

Ofc it does ... The guy claiming X1 having way better games therefore X1 is the "easy" choice compared of those 2 ... In meanwhile PS4 keep rising in sales worldwide each and every month since its release while X1 all it does is winning a month or two in US . If that is not an indication what people prefer or what majoritys choice is , Halo 5 or not , ... then .. poor me indeed.
