Xbox One is Cheaper than PS4 in many respects

If you have friends or want PlayStation eye/move or Kinect experience Xbox One is cheaper.

Xbox One $499

PS4 $399 + $59 + $31 + $31 = $520, I'm sure there will be a bundle for $499 ish. But this only allows for 2 players, the new Kinect allows up to 6 players.

2 people buy Xbox One for $998

Plus 3 different games each for $360

Both can play all 6 games using the new sharing feature for a total of $1358 and you get the Kinect thrown in.

2 people buy PS4 for $698

both have to buy 6 games each = $720

Both can play all 6 games for $1418

Combining the want for Kinect/eye like experiences and playing more than 6 games and you save a fortune getting Xbox One.

No doubt someone will say Kinect is rubbish and spys on you (untrue) or you cant sell used games (untrue) or they will remove the feature which they could but they keep talking about it so I dont see it happening or needs to be online which it does to allow the sharing of games or the PS4 has better processing power which it does and will be mean better looking exclusives. But in a lot of scenarios the Xbox One is cheaper and is definitely value for money.

Most people will just look at the price of the console. They will see that the Xbox One costs more than the PS3 launched at and just avoid it.

150.00 for this gen beta Kinect or buy NEO for 400.00 get the light years ahead, much improved Kinect 2 for just another 100.00 - yeah baby. yeah.

How do you know PS4 wont have game sharing also?  PS3 already has it, it allows for 2 people to share as many digital games as they want.  One buys the other plays for free.   I've seen no indication as to it not being in the PS4 yet.   Also you can simply share games by giving eachother discs an infinite number of times.  No problem.  There goes your little scenario.

Also isn't XBOX ONE game sharing limited to family members or people which reside within the household?  I bet there are some limitations behind it.  This is microsoft we're talking about after all.

How times change. I remember cows arguing the same thing to defend the $599 PS3. "Teh Blu-Ray and teh built in Wi-Fi". Personally, I don't care if they both cost $999, I'm still getting an XB1 at launch and maybe a PS4 next spring.

Wow. Failure topic. You are arguing about game sharing. When you share games with Xbox One over family network, only 1 can play the game at once, so you may as well just lend the disc to someone (which you can do on PS4). And on PS3 (and likely PS4 too) you can share the game with one other person, both being able to play at exactly the same time. 

And your argument about having to buy the Eye and extra motion controllers is useless as it only affects very few people.

But alas for 40$ bucks you could easily buy a PS4 used game within the first two months after launch :P What really matters more than DRM's or use games is the price.... and that 100$ difference is a lot. We already see bundles on Amazon (which I'm assuming stores will also have) for the same price of the XB1 but with a game and a full year of PS+(which besides MP, will grant you even more games every month). That's a lot more bang for your buck, comparatively. We'll see how sales go, but I think it's relatively safe to say the PS4 can (and likely will) sell more.
