I took the PS2 vs other consoles of its gen as an example to show you what destryoing the competition in terms of sales means..

We all know Sony lost a huge part of its market share with the PS3 but doesnt mean MS destroyed Sony last gen... Also as a gamer I let Comapnies worry about profits while I focus on games and luckily for gamers Sony (& 3rd party devs/Publishers) always backed up their consoles with great games libraries !!

This forum deserves a better class of lemming,

I think its gonna be pretty even. All the people I know who purchased a PS3 mainly fell into 3 categories. They bought it just for blu-ray player, games just a bonus. 2. No fee for online gaming. 3. They were afraid of RROD earlier in the gen. All those advantages are gone now.
