Xbox One S is out today, any impressions?

Why would I need two consoles to play the same games? That's just stupid.

anyone here have one with a 4k hdr tv? i have a hrd 4k tv but im looking to see how it runs blu rays

So you don't believe there are people that game on consoles only? You cows are so funny. PS4/PC game comes out and it's "not everyone is a PC gamer" PC/X1 games comes out and it's all of a sudden "You don't need an X1 because everyone has a gaming PC"

Going to look at a 4k this week. I'm picking up a UHD blu ray of Mad Max tommorow. Going to test it on my buddy's 4k tv. I'll let you know how it is.

This is how I am. I already have a Xbox One so no need for the S but the Scorpio is enough of a jump to make me want to jump.

I believe you're right, twice recently he has stated this in Xbox related articles. Once I asked what games he likes and got no response, and in this one I provided a link to the XB1's games, and got no response again.

I have a job so I don't spend all day on forums looking for responses. I also have the PS4 for the multi games.....this gen I got that first....last gen was the reverse. Grab the console with more extras especially if it costs less.

And I have a gaming PC with Windows 10.....so why would I need an Xbox S?

Didn't get one. Will wait until after I have my Scorpio to get one to replace my bulky original XB1. I always end up with 2 of the same systems. I still have 2 PS3's, 2 XBox 360's, 2 3DS's, 2 PS2's, etc..

So you couldn't of said that in the first place instead of using a fanboy "still no games" response? and then when someone asks you a legitimate question, you don't respond at all, which is strange for someone with a massive post count such as yours. Edit: They couldn't trade in my Xbox because it's not up to the latest update. :(

The guy said that he'll have the Xbox One S on hold for me all day today since I went through the process for nothing. That Xbox one hold is their last one in stock, so I really hope that the employees that weren't there when that happened decided to sell it on me.

Their network was so backed up yesterday that the woman in front of me was there for about 2 hours trading in her 2 consoles.

Only a fan boy whines when someone doesn't praise their console of choice....hint look in mirror. The One has not had a game yet that means....you must buy me. Period.

Oh he's a cow even though he won't admit it. He's done nothing but bash the X1 all gen claiming it has no games he likes. If it doesn't have games he likes then neither does the PS4 since they have basically the same library.

I'd like to see trade in numbers. I see a ton of used One's at gamestops even before the S was out.

Oh Ok then, I guess that would do it. Sounds like its selling out very fast in your area, it's a nice bit of kit and I'm more than tempted to trade in my launch system, but I want to see if they have a similar deal with the 500gig model.

Can anyone please confirm if the Xbox One S fan noise is a problem? Mine is kinda loud with a buzzing noise.

@sailor232: As for the deals you'll get $150 for the 500 GB Xbox One model until August 31st. So to be honest, you might be better off waiting till the lower models come up and have a external HDD attached to it.

Edit: I called GameStop after work to see if they still had my Xbox on hold, which they still do thankfully. Of course their systems are down and they can't sell me the new Xbox yet.

Well he must like Japanese RPG's because it's a genre XB1 is lacking in at the moment, and if that's the case then he could of just said so instead of the "no games" BS he posted, or at the very least said it has no games he's interested in.

Still whining I see. Yeah I do like JPRGS. But I already explained to you this gen the PS4 has the edge in multi plats....last gen it was the 360. MS needs to step up it's game. I play all consoles by the way....just haven't seen anything enticing on the MS box this gen. I'm waiting. Also prefer black consoles and the S is white.

@Sweetbackhair: Yeah I live in New Zealand and they havent announced any trade in deals for the 500gig model yet, it wouldn't surprise me if they don't offer anything, that's how this country roles.

It's good Gamestop kept it for you, I'd like to hear some impressions of the system when you do finally get to pay for it and pick it up. The S is very tempting.

Ahh I thought it was everywhere.

But I finally got it!! So far it looks so much better than the original Xbox One, and I really like the grips on the new controller that you get with it. I'm updating right now, and I don't have the fastest internet speed out there, so most likely I won't be playing games tonight. (Ignore the upside down Borderlands game in the 2nd pic!!)

Like I said you should of posted that to begin with so people know exactly what your talking about, but hey it only took you a few posts to say that. As for the rest well I don't care what colour console you like, but it's sounds like an excuse more than anything else.

@HoVDaHuSTLa1: @sailor232: Thanks guys! I really like this look and the controller is a great feel! The Home button is smaller than the original Xbox controller, so sometimes I don't fully hit the Home button because of my fat thumb!

Edit: I keep finding everything after I make these posts! But I wasn't able to play 4k movies on my TV, to find out that it has HDR8 and not HDR10. I'm going to call Microsoft later for some more information and possibleven troubleshooting techniques to see if there's a work around.
