This isn't really the same thing as a price drop. It's not like in the UK where the price is getting cut by roughly $50 and also including Titanfall.

If I was to buy an Xbox One now, I'd get a free copy of Titanfall. Your copy costs $60. If you're happy with that, congratulations! You're probably the ideal Microsoft customer.

I'm not delusional to think the XOne was going to stay $500 for a long time nor was I dumb enough to think MS wouldn't introduce bundles to popular games. Or the person who bought a brand new set of LG washer/dryers, only to see a 4th of July sale cut the price 30%?

Sadly i didnt get the chance to play the beta, got extremely busy and didnt even use the code so all i ended up doing was watching videos about the game to see how the gameplay is and as a huge CoD fan TF is indeed a game i would play so i'll get the PC version and use a dualshock 4 controller to play it.

^^^haha that logic. all those situations u mentioned are sale seasons where consumers are aware of pending sales. everyone knows about black friday sales so if u buy a day or week before that u do it knowingly. had m$ announced before release they would cut the price in 3 months then it would be similar situation but would those early adopters still buy x1? some hardcore will, most wont.

Will be good for those looking to get an Xbox One for Titanfall. Would be even better if they would have dropped the Kinect and priced it a $399. Then it would have moved some serious consoles.

That's why you wait to get new consoles. I learned that with the PS2, I paid over $500 for the PS2 with 3 games and a controller back in the day at launch cause every place I looked at was only selling bundles like that I couldn't just get the PS2 system.

Plus you get the digital copy of Titanfall, which according to everyone is horrible cause you like to "own" your game, lol. I am really surprised MS hasn't started offering everyone a free download of Forza 5 or something else to lure people in.

Also did you all forget that the UK got a free copy of Fifa, MS needs a bigger push over there. I am sure there will be more bundles, price cuts or extra savings tactics, and it's called business, and it's all good

The Xbox One was released a little more than three months ago. That's a very short period of time to release an official bundle.

If they had just announced that package, I would have already clicked the "order" button. That would be a deal I would get, absolutely.

But the ps2 was the first of it's kind to be able to stand up with the blue stand.

It's not as prominent with the PS3 and PS4 but the option is still there.

It would actually be worth $399. An Xbox One even with a game is not worth $499. That's easily $100 too much.

@alcapello: I believe the X1 is suppose to be used horizontally, don't know what standing it vertically does to it over time or if it even works at all

@alcapello: No I do not, only have a few actual friends that have one and about 8 people on my friends list on Live that do. If I recall MS said at E3 it's only to be horizontal and my friends only have theirs that way.

This new bundle/offer might suck me in though, I really want Killer Instinct and want to play Titanfall, so I don't know.
