Yet again. The US doesnt make up the entire world. Yes it has a large console market for sure, but I wouldnt find it hard to believe that the PS3 outsold the 360 last month. This is just like the people that think the US has a bigger market for PC gamers than the UK or Europe in general. It doesnt. In no way am I backing this kid up though. Oh and VGchartz is laughable.
Micrsoft need to get serious in 2010 and do the following...
Ditch the HDless arcade model and replace with a version with HD for about the same price
Include wireless in all consoles. Selling wireless as an addon (a really expensive one) makes the 360 a really bad value proposition for anyone needing to connect wirelessly.
As things stand the 360 is just too damn expensive when compared to the PS3 slim.

You are joking right? I know that in the UK the 360 has destroyed the ps3 over the christmas season. why do you need a price drop when you can get An Arcade , Forza 3, lips number 1 hits and scene it for £109.99 ??
Ok can someone explain to me why whenever people make a sales thread they bring up worldwide numbers but have NO proof of said numbers. Its a fact that xbox sales on software are higher than the ps3. Now people use NPD cause its the most accurate numbers for NA market but people bring up japan's numbers but not PAL numbers but hey i just think logically and there is no room for that in SW.
P.S: i just come on this website for news on whats comming out in MY part of the world i dont care anymore whats goin on in the gaming news in other reigons

yes before the Nov NPD numbers came out they were counted, but when it didnt go according to plan for cows, now we use WW since it suits them.

wasn`t last month its best selling month ever????? Nope it wasn't even its best November ever. In fact it was the first time in declined year over year in November. It dropped around 20k units form last year.

Right and that makes them credible how? Yes, Forbes and Fortune are the kings of erroneous business data and some random people on a message board whose only connection to the industry is reading blog posts and reviews are the end all be all for determining who is and who isn't legitimate. Call me crazy, but i'll take the word of companies who have been covering business reporting for over 70 years over the random people on the net when it comes to reporting on businesses and industries.

To avoid confusion you may want to abbreviate hard drive as HDD, not HD. The less informed are going to assume you mean high definition and not hard drive, as silly as it sounds. I really do not think MS is in need of another price cut. The drop in sales in kind of getting expected this late in it's lifespan. Also, we know the PS3 is starting to look "newer" compared to 360 and is a much better deal/value. This will effect the 360 sales as well. Natal may offer a boost later this year, as well as some of it's heavy hitter exclusive IPs.
