Before anyone gets confused, Microsoft's fiscal year runs from July through June of the following year. For reference, Sony and Nintendo's FY both run from April through March of the following year.

They have not released hardware numbers for years for any of their xbox consoles. This is not a new thing for Microsoft

That’s not what I said. The bigger, more popular company made more PROFIT than the smaller company brought in as REVENUE. That’s actually a big deal. Especially when the smaller company has been spinning their numbers so much.

Dude, sales numbers, in regards to "who is winning", aren't that reliable when both companies' manufacturing is restricted by the chip shortage. It's possible Sony has been more successful in securing chips than MS, which has led them to getting more PS5s into the market. Neither is able to produce in the number they want.

Or PS5 is simply in much higher demand then XSX. I've seen XSX's in stock at local stores. I've seen them available online for hours at a time before they sell out. There is some demand for them, just not nearly as much demand as there is for the PS5 which always instantly sells out.

At least in the US and UK it's possible that Xbox is taking longer to sell out at times due to more stock, at least some of the time.

LMAO. Really? Is that why they sell out in less than 5 seconds (I follow the twitter feeds). The only time XSX is in stock for longer than 30 seconds is when it's an Xbox All Access, and people are put off by the $900 price tag.
