Look at the dates buddy. If Microsoft were selling through large shipments of consoles at this rate they would have the fastest selling console in history. They're allotting online retailers like 5 consoles at a time to sell through to create the illusion that there is legitimate high demand for their product.

They do this because they know as soon as they ship out large quantities of consoles to these online retailers they won't sell out and then they can no longer push this false narrative that the XSX/S is popular.

All you've gotta do is walk into any store that sells consoles and you'll find XSX's available because stores are overstocked with them and there is low real world demand now that the few hardcore Xbots have one.

If it's a "massive money loser" and "the worst business model in gaming", then why, Oh Why, are Sony owned gaming studios saying "Sony is working on an answer to GamePass"?

which means Xbox has 31 million more monthly active users despite being outsold on hardware 2:1 over the last generation.. it's almost as if console sales don't matter as much as they used to and in terms of "ecosystem wars", Xbox has pulled ahead..

that said, and as the generation progresses, how are fanboys going to determine who's "winning"?.. You‘ve removed all the usual metrics that measure video game console success. Console sales figures, software review scores, earnings in general, and have replaced it with a metric that Xbox is proving doesn’t actually mean anything. Having 30 million more users while making HALF the revenue is insane. These revenue numbers all but prove that game pass subs aren’t spending full price, Xbox gamers aren’t buying games at the rate the competitions consumers are, and Xboxs growth isn’t tracking with the rest of the industry. The Xbox financials are proving all the points I’ve been making.
