Xbox360 and Ps3! Y 360 is superior(HEAR ME OUT)

it took the ps3 almost a year for its exclusives to catch up to just the 360's launch exclusives. the year head start didn't really matter much, did it?

as a person who has had the best of both worlds, ahhhh i just dont know

its like the mac pc thing it just never ends

personal preference i guess on the games and controller, but live is better there is no comparison

and i guess i just dont see what else there is to it? they both play the games and put them onto your screen - and they both offer online services, what else is there? i mean have fun plugging in SD flash cards or putting on free themes but i guess i just look at it as a game system and not a media device. recently it got metal gear 4 which is in my top 10 games of all time, and little big planet.

i guess i just dont get it, anyway didnt mean to stir up the pot :)

: FAR superior version of the orange box ---> Again way better on PC and the ps3 version was a port that has a few frame hickups it was a first gen multiplat port big deal

: Gears of War 1 &2 -----> Played the first on pc and uninstalled the moment I got into the fight with the thing I couldn't kill with bullets, The game's graphics are bad and the over steriod freakish models don't intrest me one bit.

: Halo 3 ----- > an overly crapy fps, played Halo 2 on pc and it sucked! Played Halo 3 at freinds and it was bad, ugly with crappy controls.

: better version of fallout 3 ---> pc version is better and has mods..... PS3 version has been patched and isn't as bad as people say.

I am 30 none of my real life friends game, so co-op isn't important to me, maybe if I was 13 that would be different

These are some of the top ps3 exclusives! I don't even need to mention multiplat games as the ps3 has so many Exclusives that are killer, but rest asured the multis are good too...but the exclusives will blow you away as they don't have the xbox 360 holding them back!!!

This just goes to show which has the better exclusives!

they just made the thing so bloody complicated to program for - the developers that arent TOTALLY devoted to harnessing all of its secrets (i.e killzone 2) - the games tend to suffer

I agree the multiplats are generally better on the 360 but it's become less and less common. IE. SF4 and RE5.

But you can't ignore Sony's superior first party devs. First Party Sony games = WIN.

I don't think they sell the B/C PS3s in retail. I live in Canada also but I got my 60gb PS3 + controller from craigslist for $300. I would suggest you check it out.

Well... sorry to spoil the fun, but you do sound like you're trying to justify your purchase. That, or you're really just some MS' publicity guy going around the web spreading pro MS propaganda.

The PS3 has a lot that the 360 hasn't:

- Bluetooth and controllers that doesn't require battery replacement (well, one day they will need to be replaced, but i've got 2 launch sixaxis and their batteries are almost lasting like if they were new, so it's safe to bet the batteries last for at least 4 years)

- Wifi

- Free Online Gameplay

- Web Browser, more Media Center functions, Card Reader slots (especially if you have a 60GB unit, like myself =] ), Home, possibility of installing Linux, etc. I'll sum that up as: Better connectivity and media server features.

- The obvious BD drive

Also, about the games: -The PS3's Games Library is on par with the competition's. Why? Because it's arguably better than 360's library, and 360's library is also arguably better than PS3's, so i just made the average saying they are on par with each other, which can't be a lie in any way. In a matter of games library, we're really down to the user's taste since both consoles offer more than enough to enjoy.

So, trying not to be biased, i'd like to resume my post with this argument: chosing the console is always a matter of opinion. No product can please everyone. I agree with you when you say we can't say that the PS3 is > the 360. Yet, we can't say the contrary. You sounded like you think that the 360 is superior. It may be, but in your opinion. You spoke like the PS3 has only 2 games worth noting. I just feel sorry for people that thinks that way, they don't know what they're missing.

It is ancient knowledge in SW that the ones that enjoys the most are the ones that plays on all platforms, so they don't lose any great game. Yet even those would argue against each other like if they were cows vs lemmings, or something like that, if you ask questions like "which was a better launch title, Resistance or PD0?", "which looks better, Uncharted or Gears?", etc... it's all about opinion man, and that's why i repeat that a thread with a title such as this one has is only a blog post, nothing more.

Trust me on this my friend, the Trophys are on par with achievements, and we're down to opinions again.

Any way we slice it, SW is basicly an opinion-based debate center. The only thing we can't discuss on this matter at hand is that the multiplats are indeed, on the most part, better on the 360, with some respectful exceptions for the PS3 like Oblivion, Burnout and some other games... arguably (again) COD4 and GTA4

Which falls again on the taste of the player and which games pleases him more...

I may be wrong, but didn't Oblivion try to be a ps3 launch title. If so, I don't think it should be used for claiming ownage for it being late to the ps3. It wasn't out yet, but it seems like if it was, it would have been out at the same as the 360's. Prolly in crappier quality like most early ps3 game though. Who know, maybe if the ps3 was released at same time or around the same time as the 360, maybe the xbox would be having crappier multiplats. craftieman05

lets check all the gaming related things 360 does that ps3 dont and exclude the entertainment section as we know ps3 does offer blue ray, and 3 good movies so far lol ,

1 its game library of exclusives and multiplats exceed ps3s, but doesnt exceed wiis, !

2 its price is a huger factor even at launch it was the 2nd cheapest to the wii being 1st still is when you add a hdd

3 timing, when they launched it, ps3 wasnt even done, so again price is another reason partly for here lol,

even though it had its year start it still was cheaper then when ps3 finally hopped in , with ill fated launch titles if you will and now it still has them characteristics

heres a n example,

over half the games released on the ps3 are released on the 360 and or wii or both, earlier then its ps3 counterpart

so why wait when i can have it now-i do own all 3 consoles lol ,

exclusive content within these titles, 360 can play your music while you play, also getting acheivments only a singlewii and a small selection ps3 titles do this ,

online services that is ok , i dont care fr it honestly,

i like wiis better, no trash talk no rating so they cant bump you down only because your winning lol,

2 of the biggest gries i have on 360 besides paying 50 dollars

test drive unlimited-first one i fell in love with lol, awsome its on ps2 and psp to but last gen techthey could have put it on wii but nope

dead rising-timed exclusive is now on wii , and is still fun to play no matter what platform you choose to play it on

saints row 1- i prefer this over gta iv , seriously and its exclusive to 360

crack down like gta/saints row/driver but its cell shaded i like that

gears and halo

forza and pgr- offering simulation or arcade racing

kameo

banjo -xbla

banjo 3

nascar 09 -looks better on 360

guitar hero series and rockband series -exclsuve download stuff, also more easier since xbl has point cards

niether ps3 360 or wii has the best library though, that still goes to snes,

wii comes close 2nd with 360 just behind in 3rd but to find ps3 your gonna have to look to the last console on my list of owned consoles lol

because of 3 main factors

1 they arive late half the time-the games ,

2 360 offers more content

3 wii offers more fun

and 4 since launch wii and 360 combined have had more success then psp and ps3 combined

heck if i threw ds in it be a disaster ,

not whos the best in sales bla bla -this is the very reason i own every well almost every console made by the big 3 ex 4-5 (sega and atari)
