xbox360 has been old since 2005

The xbox360 has been old since 2005 every game that it gets is for pc so why bother getting it if the pc version is always best except for games like bioshock2 and1.

alright then lets see every game that the xbox360 has out now is just 10 times better on pc.For example battlefield3 it has 64 players on pc and only 24 players on xbox360.Does that sound good 24 players over 64 players.which one sounds better.Another thing is you are able to make the game look better by setting the textures to high you cant do that on the xbox360 because then ill slow down a lot because it cant run it and ill probaly fram skip

I can't get Gears of War 3 for the PC.

I can't get Forza 4 for the PC.

I can't get Geometry Wars for the PC.

I can't get Project Gotham Racing 4 for the PC.

I can't get Halo Reach for the PC.

I also can't get multi-plats like Red Dead Redemption for the PC.

dude every game on xbox360 looks bad.battlefield3 looks really good on xbox360 when you are far away lets say a tree.But when you got close to that tree you could see the horibly textures you could see all the pixels.now the company dice did that so that they could fit those huge maps that they create.they also had to cut parts off of maps because the xbox360 and ps3 could not run all of the destruction and the stuff that that game has which is a lot

Yes TC, consoles look old compared to PCs but im sure everyone know it.

Prioritzing hardware over software isn't exactly something to boast about one self. Games should always be the primary reason to play.

My PC doesn't have greater hardware capabilities than the 360 and I payed more for the PC... Including internet and work use of my PC, I probably use my xbox more. So perhaps the hardware in a PC isn't actually worth the price, or maybe the 360 wasn't 'old' in 2005...

Hardware-wise - in 2005, the X1800 ATI video chipset wasn't yet available for PC and 3-core (hardly even dual-core) CPU's also weren't popular yet. The 360 system wasn't old it was very well-made and most of the time PC's - no matter how 'future-proof' cannot keep up 'medium/high' settings for a solid 6 years unless upgrades are made. The system itself is self-contained and cannot be 'upgraded'.

Gaming-wise - yes, a majority of games available for it are also on the PC, and that's why I tend to only get exclusives for the consoles I own and in this case the 360 has quite a few that were well worth the price of the system to be able to play them.

Let me name a few you can't get on PC:

Halo 3, ODST, Reach, Wars,
Gears of War 2 and 3,
Forza Motorsport 2, 3 and 4,
Dead or Alive 4,
Tekken 6,
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (GRAW 1 and 2) are not the same on 360 and PC,
Ninja Gaiden II,
Project Gotham Racing 3 and 4,
Dead Rising,
Burnout Revenge,
Red Dead Redemption,
Alan Wake, and I'm sure there are many I'm forgetting.

Consoles exist because not everyone wants to game on a PC.

If you don't want to game on a PC, then your entire argument is irrelevant.
