You can't compare a PC to a conzole!! It's just plain stupid! A PC can do a 1000 things, it was designed for many tasks. A conzole is mainly designed for gameing, everything else is just an added bonus!

Ok.So you prefer 3 consoles VS a high-end PC. (even if you can buy a very nice one with 800-900 nowdays and play all available and future games for the next 2-3 years).

most of the PC games costs from 39.99 to 2.99 (at least in my country) where console games costs from 79.99 to 19.99.So if you buy lets say 50 total games till the end of this gen (or more) for the 3 consoles there will be a huge difference on how much you have to spend more over the 50 PC games.Difference would be that much,that price of your High-end PC would be almost 2/3 of what it was.

Not to mention the EMUs of PC world where you can play most games of previous generations (from master system to PS2),not to mention the strong MMORPG market where there are many free games to play,not to mention the countless MODs for the best PC games.

Now,with such a PC youll play ALL games in very high settings. What this mean? Even higher settings than x1080with max settings,and good frames.Consoles cant do that.

Many multimedia capabilities.So many that would be a "waste" of time to write them all.You understand...

Many ports from AAAE or AAA console games. Examples? DMC4- GTA4 - Gears oF WaR and more.

Best platform for RTS - FPS - MMOs - MMORPGs -ADVENTURE games. There isnt anyone to compete PCs on these genres.

DL anything.From mp3s to applications,try before buy,movies,games,mini games,net free games and all.

Best internet gaming experience.Big PC communities,Worldwide tournaments,best servers available.Especially on RTS-FPS and MMORPGs.

Yes,you will play also Gears of War,Halo 3,Gowars2,Fable 2 and more... What if you wait like 4-6 months or more more than a console? Its really that big deal?I think there are so many titles that can keep you busy till these arrive.

Best "BC" platform there is. You can play anything. Games from 98 or 97 till 2008.With the same machines. Also you can find these games FREE or pay like 1 to 3.99.So the list of games you can enjoy is really huge.

Competitive and intense internet play. Hardcores are PC games. Especially FPS-MMORPGs and RTS.Competition is very high,especially TEAM vs TEAM,games like CS-COD4-WAR3-WoW and more. You wont find more competitive platform.Not to mention how many hardcores there are.

Back in the 90s, I remember that a "high end PC" (at that time, a 133MHz Pentium w/ 64MB RAM) cost roughly $2,500 to $3,000. Five years later, a "high end PC" (for me, an AMD Athlon 1.4GHz w/ Geforce 3) cost around 1,800 to $2,000. Now, I just built a quad-core PC with an 8800GT for a little over $1,100, and that's including shipping and taxes.

At this rate, by the next generation a "high end PC" will be almost as cheap as only one console.

Only a desperate and really uninformed person would buy a 9800GTX, and they haven't even been released. Come on, there is no game apart from Crysis that can't be maxed with a 8800 GT.
