Braverly Default did remove the risque costumes and this game is owned by Square-Enix. More likely, the removal of risque material is done so that the game will not have a more restrictive ESRB rating.

I thought Xenoblade was supposed to be a story driven RPG. Over sexualizing characters breaks immersion. This will probably be an instance where Nintendo upgrades the game by censoring it, even though it's for the wrong reasons.

Totally absurd not just because it's inappropriate but also because it's just fucking stupid from a design perspective. What is the point of having armour/outfits that don't actually protect you?! Also dumb that Japan still needs to appeal to the lowest common denominator by putting shit like that in their games. Makes me embarrassed to say I play video games.

Yeah, I agree the outfit is quite silly and this is SF. It's an outrageous and quite stupid series, but I wouldn't care anyway. SF ran its course after playing the third of the 5 iterations of SF4 for me. It's still awkward seeing this game's obsession with ass shots.

Well, I kinda hope they do take this out from the game. I don't want my characters running around naked. It doesn't fit for people who battle monsters. I might find this armor with such good stats that I'm forced to use it. That would suck. Remove it please.

These are just optional costumes, they arent defaults. I actually wouldnt play with them on either, its not my style, i like the more tech looking costumes they have for default.

These costumes serve a purpose, when they are flying their mechs for hours and have to go to the restroom they can go while flying or while in combat. Its just for their comfort. Their mechs can then take the waste and convert it into energy for the mech. Its some high tech stuff so im sure the average person wont understand or relate. Technology can be confusing to some.

Then I'm cool. But if they give this shit good stats, I'd be pissed.

After you play Xenoblade Chronicles X to completion once, a “fashion equipment” option will be added to the equipment menu. This option will allow you to customize your character’s visual equipment separate from your actual gear that you use for combat purposes. In summary, you’ll be able to equip the gear you like visually, without actually using its stats.

I just don't understand how people don't realize bikini armor comes with a natural forcefield.

I mean, we're already piloting giant robots and fighting giant bugs, dragons, aliens whatever. A little optional Tn'A isn't going to hurt the realism.
