Xenoblade to Hit Europe Two Weeks Early

Xenoblade Chronicleswill be released in the UK and Europe on August 19th, two weeks earlier than expected.

A limited-edition pre-order bundle will include a red ****c Controller Pro and three digitally-signed A3 posters bearing the signature of Tetsuya Takahashi, founder of Monolith Software. Those will be in short supply, so it's worth pre-ordering now, European fans.

Xenoblade: Chronicles is one of three games at the centre of the Operation Rainfall movement, a fan-driven protest againstNintendoof America's refusal to release Japanese Wii RPGs The Last Story, Xenoblade and Pandora's Tower in North America. NOA has stood by its decision not to publish the games, but Nintendo of Europe will be bringing The Last Story to European Wii owners in 2012.

There's still no word on whether Pandora's Tower will make it out of Japan.

So let me get this. They must have translated it into English, or it wouldn't be hitting the UK. SO WHY NO US RELEASE?

I'll be honest...

I just want the red classic controller. Have a black CC Pro, gold CC pro, white CC (Might grab a white pro,) and now I need a red one to finish off the odd assortment of colors. Hopefully the eBay gods will grace me with some red controllers :P

Your very right, i kept thinking Uncharted 3 to release November 11th, i think thats MW3 where it comes on the 11th and Uncharted 3 is on November 1st so EU right after the NA release

I GUESS I could understand piracy but are you kidding me you can't talk about softmodding your console? It's not illegal. Whatever it's a solution to one of your problems but if people don't want to do it and do a pointless protest whatever.

I live in the UK and even I think it's messed up/strange that this game is coming here and not in NOA. When a game is not translated to NOA you'd think it wouldn't make it's way to the UK, let alone Europe.

I'm actually looking forward to this game so much
