I agree, I feel like im one of the only ones that things the dashboard looks downright atrocious. Those blades on the left and right are so dam ugly, i want to smack whoever designed that. The XMB is so sleak and simple.

I'm not talking about the color btw on the screen the TC posted, but i mean the design in general looks very ugh.

That is just the inner fanboy crying to get out. :lol: Seriously though, TC's "picture" of the menu system for XBL is distorted. I find it much easier to use and navigate than PSN. To each their own.

you can turn the ads off if you want. and you know, it's very usefull. when you click the ad like for a newly released demo, it'll bring you right to the download screen. but you know what...never mind. you've probably never seen xbox live in real life. you just googled a very biased pic from SDF or something

The Blades aren't bad at all I believe. They are quite organized and getting to and fro of what you want in the Blades menu isn't hard either. Also it's pretty smooth and slick on how it's just organized as a whole.

Sometimes I have trouble with XMB on PS3 for things like Music, Pictures and Video when it's in need of organizing. Sony really should focus on fixing that, because currently 360 does it better for me in terms of organizing my content. Giving me a list to brwose by "Artist, Songs, Albums and Playlists" while the PS3 only gives me a playlist and then separates my albums/songs. :|

What the hell are you talking about. All the ads have to do with either gaming or have something to add to the 360 itself. If its an ad like 7-up or whatever they always have free themes and gamer pics. That may not be interesting to you but I have seen a lot of people using those types of gamer pics because they like the product.

Seriously look at what you post before doing so because even in your example it shows that the ad space is used for games and stuff related to the 360.

I know I can leave my ps3 up on screen all day and it can look like a piece of art displaying on the screen. In my little home theater the xmb on the ps3 comes across very nicely and stylish.

I wish the xmb allowed user created folders, but for someone to think the xmb is hard to work is just sad lol. My 4 yr old navigates it everyday, even opens up the demo folder and all. Shoot he even takes out games reboxes it then puts another game in and choses the disk to start play.

Xmb is stylish, and easy to use.

I hate the PS3 xmb it looks generic they just put the PSP xmb in the console it really disappointed me when I saw it the first time. They could have put something a little better in there, upgrade it a little so it doesn' t look like something that has been around since 2004.xxyetixx
