I own Prototype on PC and have played inFamous extensively. I prefer Prototype. But, yes, they are very different games. The only thing they have in common is that they are open world.

I love both. There's pros and cons to each, imo. Man, I'm really digging into Prototype, though. Already finished inFAMOUS palying good and bad, so Prototype just came at the right time. But now I'm juggling 5 other newer games with it, and then Ghostbusters next week. Omgwtfbbq!
I agree completely. If i had to choose one though it would be Prototype. To be honest, one of the main things that dissapointed me in inFamous was the lack of the free running (in the final copy)that was in the original trailer. You know, where cole was hopping onto the hood and tops of cars and rolling off? It made the game look so fast paced. The end of the trailer had him raining the lightning storm on top of amachine on a bridge. I was expecting that running in the final copy.
I got a buddy trying to convince me to buy Ghostbusters on PC as it's only $30. Still debating, it looks interesting and I love the movies but, well, it's not normally my type of game. Though the coop does sound enticing.
Yeah, I hear you. The locomotive adaptive parkour is great in Prototype. Running down the street on hoods of vehicles and knocking people out of the way, or running up or along a building, is all very seamless and easy, yet it all looks ace. Really good animations.
I have to get Ghostbusters because not only am I a fan of the franchise, but it's like the sequel that I never got to Luigi's Mansion,w hich I felt was so underappreciated. And it's getting very nice reviews, too, so that's always a plus.
