make that 13. if this is ever comes to the west, im so ggetting it(or unless the jpn version has english sub for yakuza one,and original va with subtitles for yakuza 2)I'm sure the twelve people who wanted this will be very happy.

make that 11 because I would have wanted this if I didn't already own both the PS2 versions. HD is nice, but I've already played through both of the games a few times. and for the record... story wise yakuza 1 > 2 > 3 > 4 gameplay wise.. yakuza 4 > 3 > 2 > 1I'm sure the twelve people who wanted this will be very happy.

Eh,the first two games weren´t very good,3 and 4 are pretty good though.Arach666depends on how you look at it. The story starts to get a bit flaky in 3 and 4. I definitely hate the whole orphanage portion of part 3, and Akiyama/Saejima (tho saejima's combat kinda blows) are the best parts of 4. 3 and 4 with no doubt in my mind have the best combat (by far), but the stories in #1 and 2 are far superior. So many awesome twists in the first two games.

I think my biggest problem with the first two games(mainly yakuza 2 wich was the one I played first)was that I got in comparing it to Shenmue 1 and 2,and ended up disapointed with some aspects of it,like the fixed camera angles(wich I hate and even Shenmue still in the 90´s had full 3D camera),the fact that you could barely talk to anyone in the streets(when you could talk to everyone in Shenmue, though there were way less people around tbh) and one of the most annoying things was the lack of voice acting in so many segments of the game(when every single thing on Shenmue 1 and 2 was fully voice acted, regardless of quality),among other small annoyances.
I haven´t finished the first one(but played quite a bit) and finished Y2,and yeah, the stories are pretty good,I wouldn´t say they were better than Y3 or Y4 though.
I actually really like the orphanage parts in Yakuza 3,they helped building character for Kazuma, and even though it drags a bit too much I still really enjoyed that, both in the beggining and later on when you come back. Akiyama and Saejima are pretty good in Y4,but so is Kazzy, didin´t cared much for Tanimura, though the fact you could explore other sections of kamurocho with him was pretty interesting,an his combat style is pretty good as well,Saejima being the worst in that regard.
