I finished R&C: ToD ($60) in about 8 hours, so this is actually a better deal, imo.

All right I can't wait to see how the story progresses.

Ratchet and Clank is the best third person shooter out there.

The only people who hate it are the people who don't play with Strafe controls.

Strafe allows you to do really quick and fun dodges.

Without it, the game isn't as intense.

If its as great as the first one, I'll play through it atleast 3 times.

If you dont like R&C dont buy it. And this time you cant even use the "yeah, but they waste time on R&C and dont bring out any new games" arguement, because Insomniac cranks out games like no other. Now i would understand using the arguement for Blizz regarding WoW expansions, or Squeenix regarding remakes, but Insomniac is one dev company you cannot accuse of halting games due trying to milk a franchise. Most of the other titles take longer to make -- I haven't played much of R&C Future, but it seemed basically the same as the others, just in HD.

Plus, Insomniac is already doing this with Resistance. Resistance 2 is already coming out and a year after that we'll see Resistance 3.

but i dont understand whats bad about that. All their games get AA+ on metacritic so i dont see whats wrong. Now if they started making crap games like sega, then you would have a point, but i have no problems with a dev releasing a great game very year.

Mhmm. To be honest, I prefer the Jax and Daxter series over the R&C series (those are basically my favourite series from the PS2 last gen).

i'll deff get this, R&C FToD was great, and Quest for booty will be too. My gf is catching up right now on ToD in time for TfB.

I think for Ratchet fans, the value of this downloadable game is actually really good.

Ratchet and Clank virtually only have a game out every year and mostly all of them good and I expect this to be the same. For £15 this is a great deal even if it is short I am probably gonna get it.

Mine came for free in a bundle, it was like PS3, HDMI cable, Ratchet and Clank Future, for $399. :P

I'll be downloading this when it comes out, it looks like they changed a few things up, and I want to know what happenes.

There is a 2 year gap between RFOM 1 and RFOM 2. I doubt they'll have RFOM 3 out by the end of 2009.

lol! resistance is not a franchise yet, it only has 1 game... and its not even AAA. so i have no clue where youre getting your 'facts' from

After seeing it in action...I must say I'm liking this one better.

It seems to be more platforming based rather than combat based.

Which is good seeing as we really don't see that many old school platformers anymore.
