I get tired of hearing about how games like MKX are only really designed for consoles. That is bullcrap, and the reason for that is consoles are just dumbed down, gimped PCs. To play a game like this on a console is to play it on a PC that has been designed with a custom operating system and custom hardware that is all controlled by the company that made the system. Yeah, it may be easier to deal with most times, but let's face it. Consoles are looking more and more like PCs with each generation, and this gen they look like bottom of the line, low end PCs with specs similar to what you would have if you bought a pre-built PC from best buy that has a discrete GPU in it, and maybe not even as good as that. At least those tend to have a good CPU in them.

I'm more than happy to get a port of a console game. PCs can do it, so why not? It really is the ultimate gaming platform.

When the developers do it right (The Witcher 3 and so on) the PC players claim the victory, when the developers do it wrong, the PC players distance themselves from the developer. If you claim the successes you must claim the failures. It also goes to show that the 'it was made on PC therefore PC is the ultimate platform' argument is nonsense.
