You don't have a PS3 because?

If you had a 2 rooms... one with PS3s and PS3 games and the other with 360 and 360 games, after a few minutes in the PS3 room, everyone would gravitate towards the 360 rooms.. the games are just far better. My friends have run tests like this...PS3 is pretty much unplayable and owning the previous consoles, the only games I would even play were by atlus or square... non of who have anything big coming in the next year.

I'm just trying to figure out why great gaming on the PS3is being avoided like the black plague? Why defend a system that gives you RROD and great shooters and sub-par other genres? I love Wii, so you should have one of those too.Dylons_Fire

The best answer so far. In truth, their is no fact why you don't have one, but only opinion of your personal taste. I'll explain later my lunch break is over.

1. Better Games = Fact
2. Better Online = Fact

Only point 7 is an opinion. I'm am not giving my opinions. I am stating facts to as why I don't own one. Why would I state opinions to why I don't own something that makes no sense?

I do think the ps3 is more interesting than the x360, but hey i got a pc.
Well in the end i'd prefer to have all so i guess all it comes down to is money! So they say! Is the root of all evil too day!

It has full backward compatibility, there's plenty of games, more than anyone can afford, they're making them with rumble now, and they're putting out a 40gb for $399.

I know, really. I've played Wii my wifes nephew bought one and lives with us, my brother in law John owns 360 and I used to own 1. I really don't understand the draw people have to the Wii. It's got PS2 graphics and mediocur games. The 360 has good games and Halo 3 is really good, but it's had its failures and probs and has had longer to get good games. The PS3 plays HD BR movies and has many quality games in HD. I can see why the 360 has sold 10.8 million because its been out a year longer and has a good library of games, but why does the Wii sell so well? Now that's boggling!!

How do people not understand this simple concept, nothing is mind boggling about it. The Wii sells so well because it appeals to a larger audience. Lets put it this way.

Product A) Appeals to a demographic of 10 people

Product B) Appeals to a demographic of 100 people

Which product has the best chance of selling the most units? Come on, its not that hard :|

It has more games than anyone can afford to buy.

Maybe it's not a big deal, but it's a feature the PS3 has that's nice. The Wii shouldn't be outselling the 360 and PS3 with PS2 graphics and a pathetic online. The HD graphics and good online experience with the 360 and PS3 should gain peoples interest more than controls you flail around as you play.

You really don't get it do you? The Target Demographic for the Wii is much larger then the 360 and the PS3. Why the hell wouldn't it be outselling them both? This is a business and Nintendo is targeting more consumers then the PS3 and the 360 and that is why it sells more. The end.

1. I don't give a damm about Blu-Ray, therefore it's a useles feature that makes the console too expensive. Get rid of the Blu-Ray, drop the price another $150 and I might consider a PS3.

2. Not sure what you mean. Having tons of game is a good thing last time I checked. I don't know what your point is.

3. The Wii is $250 and has Zelda & Metroid - two of my all-time favorite franchises. Again, I could care less about Blue Ray or HD-DVD.

Fact is, both the PS3 & x360 are over-priced right now. Neither will truly enjoy great sales until they are, at least, $250. That is what the market has dictated so far this gen.

Cows will argue about BR bringing the value up, but consumers have solidly put the PS3 in 3rd place.

2: Hd Formats are going no where

3: Its a waste of several cubic cm of breathable air

I love the FF games (bought a PS3 for FFXIII), but how can you say the PS3 is better for RPGS based on a game thats not even close to release and we know barely anything about. As much as i hope it doesnt FFXIII could be bad (FFX-2 anyone ?) and Lost Odyssee could be amazing.

FFXIII coming out in Q4 2008 is so awesome that it already makes BD & ES not worth playing. In fact, those games are garbage compared to FFXIII. Just waiting for Q4 2008 is more fun than those two games.

Neither BD nor ES/TB have broken half a million, last I checked. FF12, for the PS2, currently the lowest-selling FF of the lot, sold just under 4 million. Anticipation is probably high enough that FF13 can break either one in presales alone.HuusAsking

That doesnt matter, the fact of the matter is you cant judge which of two games will be better simply by name alone.

The cows know that the best seeing as they see fit to hype KZ2 even with its predecessors short comings, but they're right, just because one game from a certain dev was great/bad doesnt mean the next game from that dev is guarenteed to be great/bad.

Unless you're talking about hype and in that respect, sure FF is definately the more anticipated RPG of this gen.
