M$ really did a number to sony his gen. They clearly have more support from western developers in general that produce things like mass2 and left for dead. Not only that but most western games are developed for the 360 then ported to the ps3. Sony has no support from western rpgs developers outside of bethesda, bioware and a few others, but still only manage to get the short end of the things when looked from a sw standpoint( no mass effect for ps3, worst version of fallout 3 etc). Not only are western third party games superior on the xbox 360, but also and probably their biggest accomplishment this gen is the stolen thunder from japanese developers. Xbox 360 has plenty of japanese exclusives that are not available on a ps3, they have had a lot more support than sony, a japanese company, this generation as a whole. Square has more games out on the 360, namco has more games out on the 360, capcom has more games out on the 360, atlus has more games out on the 360, tecmo has more games out on the 360 (i'm refering to the japanese games that have hit the west by now). How is the acceptable to sw? A console that barely has 3 million user in japan has more support than sony in their own turf. Because of that, ms has gained a lot of costumer here in the west( even if the japanese continue to ignore it).Doesn't matter in what way you try to spin this ms has overshadowed sony this gen, both critically and commercialy
Yes, ms has paid for them. Yes, sony produces a lot of first party exclusives themselves. Yes, sony has built an overall better machine. Yes, there is a lot of arguing about this. Yes, Ms is in the lead(even if some deny it). Yes, sony is losing a lot of money. Yes, this sw just boils down to sony vs ms. Yes this is a flame threat. Yes, you'll probably tell me to "blog it"(cows). Yes, that's just reality, because it doesn't matter how much we brag about scores, in the end sales will determine the winner.
