The Wii would be perfectly fine if the price reflected the last-gen hardware. As is the Wii and most of its games are overpriced jokes. As soon as it's $149, most games are $20-$40, and the VC games are half the cost, then it'll be a GOOD VALUE and I'll stop dissing it.
I hate the fact that they don't get multiplats. They said we're not going for graphics and I accept that, but they never said we're not going after multiplatform games. It's ridiculous how much multiplats are missing from it.
Well I'll be honest...I love graphics, I like gore and blood, and shooting things, fast cars, and pixelated boobies...all this the wii does not offer me!
The hell. You don't have to be a graphics-loving freak like PC gamers to enjoy 360 games. There are alreadygames with great gameplays+graphics together. With 360, you ain''t missing anything. Online? Either pay for Live to keep all those goodies saved in 1 profile or be a cheap skate and keep on creating new accounts for free online play (like me!).
Yeah, you don't need good hardware to have good gameplay. I like gameplay that is why I did not see the need to upgrade to a Wii... I still enjoy that gameplay of Tetris, Minesweeper and Solitaire. I think I will stick with them for another decade or 2.
