'Cause that sure would be something for consoles. I've heard Cafe games will run natively at 1080p which is also nice but I hope they traget 60FPS first.
60FPS and 1080p would of course be full of win.

It's possible I guess. I'm kind of expecting Nintendo to surprise us with some HD third-party support.Who knows if/whichpreviously announced gameswill be ported to Cafe.
Maybe at low-medium. Don't know jack about BF3 or Cafe yet so pretty much all guessing. I'd love to see medium at 60fps at 1080p, but thats just not gonna happen.
will have to wait and see.... but yeah at 720p with the leaked specs there is a very good chance that it will be able to run it , close to the pc version of the game.
I'm not sure if BF3 will even be on Project Cafe.funsohng
I remember reading somewhere that BF3 will be among Cafe's launch titles.

Where did you read this? Why don't we wait till we get confirmed specs first? But going off of all the rumors (quad with r770 and 1gb system ram) then i doubt it will match the PC version much less at 60fps.ferret-gamer
its 512mb of system ram, and 1gb of dedicated ram for the GPU.... on the leaked specs of course.

this is true..... still it has never stoped EA from using their own servers, and letting you use your own tags.... at least thats how it was on PS2, have never played a wii EA game, so who knows.I doubt it[QUOTE="funsohng"][QUOTE="zxcqweasd1"]

That was only one generation (Wii) and it was clear that Nintendo wasn't targetting the hardcore online community. Nintendo knows the importance now of online gaming and they're working greatly to build upon it. Like with XBL, they're going to try and create their own strong online community. Personally I think they'll be successful.

Didn't they keep friend code with 3DS?Well, yea. Any game on consoles could run at 60 FPS, but with a huge hit in the graphics. It would look nothing like the current videos released. The textures would have to be greatly lower, the resolution sub 720, and there would be no AA. Also, I'm sure that the shadows would look very... very blocky. Not sure about the lighting as the lighting in the new engine is... well, new.
For games on the consoles to run at 60 FPS, like CoD, they always look really bad. CoD: BOs has so many horrible textures.

um its coming to PS3 and 360 wich should equal low settings im pretty sure project cafe can run more then that.

BO looked great in parts in single player for consoles but its multiplayer looked absolutely disgusting.

Sure it can the best hdtv is only 1080p most are 60hz or lower unless you have a high end 120hz model. BF3 will also be optimized to run on cafe ie the dev knows what they are working with unlike pc. The real problem is nintendo's online sucks azz.

Ummm... no... and neither have you. They have yet to be released (unless I am missing out on something, which I'm sure I'm not since info like that would be on the front page of every gaming site).

I hope that list is real. That would be very impressive. And then there's this:-
· Super Mario Cafe (Late 2012/Early 2013, Paradigm Shift a la SM64)

Yes but there are always rumors/speculations/leaks which help paint a picture of what we can expect. What most people are going with these days is going to be likely outcome e.g. AMD R700 series as graphics card etc

Thats funny becaue the leaked specks of both the Gamecube , PS2 and Xbox before E3 were almost dead on.

Ok. Based on those "leaked" specs, then the answer is still the same. The Wii2/Project Cafe will only be slightly better than the PS3. The PS3 is not even close to an i7 and a GTX 580, which is what the hardware is for the videos released so far. Then add in that those videos' content isn't even maxed out, and it is clear... oh so clear... that the Wii2/Project Cafe will not be able to run the game at 60 FPS at a graphical level near to what has been shown so far. Add in that the hardware will be new and therefor a tad difficult for the devs to optimize (seeing as how the 360 has had 6ish years for devs to optimize that hardware and they can barely get 60 FPS in games at even sub HD resolutions).
I just lol at people like this that buy into the hype for console hardware. I'm sure you though everything this gen on consoles was going to be 1080p at 60 FPS... Just get a PC and play the game on the proper system with up to 64 players, better graphics, more than 60 FPS, dedicated servers, mouse and keyboard as well as any other input device you can think of, etc..

Didn't know THIS many people started gaming this gen. People don't realize Nintendo consoles before the Wii were graphical powerhouses.
