I'm really sorry that you have never played Starcraft before. Nows a good time to start: Blizzard recently added a new "League" function to the game a few days ago. I would read the review of Starcraft and it's Expansion in the following links.

Then, you can go to a store and buy the games for only 20$ total. It's an incredible deal. 

Guess what, I went and played FF 3 around 4 years ago. I cant belive i am waiting for a sequal to a game that looks so bad either :roll:

I'm sorry.  Did you just speak out against the StarCraft series of games?  You couldn't have... 

(on a side note I dunno about the video's authenticy with National Geographic. I googled "world cyber games national geographic" and I kept gettin links to the video. I Searched world cyber games on the National Geographic website and got nothing.)

The game looks like an eye sore to be honest. It prolly just addicting gameplay.. Reminds me of AOE with the concept and all. It's sorta lame unless you're playing against a friend i'm guessing.. but eh, hardcore gamers would say otherwise.

Holy crap, I didn't know National Geographic made an episode about StarCraft!

But, anyway, yeah, StarCraft is one of the most popular sports in Korea.

I've met professional Starcraft players. And I tell you, they are more phyically fit that 95% of the people on this board( Not that this says much)

Their Micro skills are incredible, and I've never seen tanks, goliaths, and dragoons come at me so fast.

if you diss Starcraft, you are not a gamer. You cannot call your self a gmaer. Hell, you're not even human.

In-case you didn't know better graphical quality is becoming more and more a standard these days... maybe you were too busy playing Starcraft to know this. Besides that i've played games like this before... they're long and boring after a while. I couldn't play a game like this myself due to the craptastic graphics... This game could have pulled it off with me as great like in 2000-01 but those years have come and gone. Time to get over 64 bit quality... it sounds superficial in the gaming world but ya know.... gameplay isn't the only thing wanted these days.

So you are dissing a 10 year old game for having 10 year old graphics?  That game being one of the pillars upon which gaming is built?  Either you are the pinacle of fanboy, or you have never played a quality game in your entire life.

I don't see what your problem is over a near 10 year old game 

 I don't get your sig, clearly the guy is missing him with the thing he is throwing. So are you saying hermits are throwing common sense at console sheep but are missing? So you would be implying that hermits don't use common sense. :P

The event was in Korea, so SC II want shocking. However, I really would have preferred Diablo II.Sig12047

I'm mainly saying all this based on that part 2's gfx aren't all that great.... I only play quality games for your info... if a game can't keep my attention for more than 30mins at a time it's not worth playing at all.

It's clearly obvious who the fanboys are in here since they take criticism towards a game as a personal attack and make derogetory comments towards that person. Maybe it's never suppose to have flashy graphics... but where something lacks it's suppose to be made up at sooner or later... as you said the first one is a 9 year old game... they had a while to get to work on this. I'm just stating my opinion, don't take it so seriously.
