It's being released in 2009 but still that is somewhat impressive. It looks like it's getting a new game every 12 months or so.

I seem to disagree with this guy a lot. He doesn't see the facts that PSP has sold an outstanding ammount of consoles for the price it is at. More than wii, more than ps3 and 360 combined and its the only system close to DS and DSL.

the psp won't die soon.sure,it doesn't have a lot of big games coming out this year.but it has enough to keep psp owners happy.and in the next two years,we are still going to get great games.So it not going to die this year and it's not gonna die soon

The Wii has already almost caught up to the PSP in lifetime sales and no doubt the PS3 will catch up and easily beat it. I don't think anything outselling the DS in Japan anymore is a big feat since the DS really almost ran out of people to sell too (it has outsold the PS2 and catching the original GB which had many years to sell 30m and only did so because of Pokemon).

But the first year PSP line-up was ironically its best while the DS it was the worst (explains why sales wise they were only a few million apart back then).
