played it at my friends house (i dont own a PS2)
great game! not the best i have played, but very good
I hated the first. The second seems to be more of the same. AramandDitto. I picked the first up for $15, and I'm glad I didn't play more. It was kinda fun, but it was just a slightly fancied up hack-n-slash with terrible forced platforming elements. Just plain uninspired gameplay trying to hide behind shock value and brutality.
Few? Sony has the best lineup of 1st party games GsSanAndreas
Out of curiosity, what games has Sony made? Out of what I know Nintendo has the best first part support with Zelda, Metriod, Mario, etc. So far the only Sony games that have really impressed me have been Shadow of the Colossus(Team ICO is a part of Sony i believe) and God of War series. PS2 second and third party support obliterated what Microsoft and Nintendo had though.
Or you can just play the first one, it's the same game with a different story. I was hoping for something better. All well, maybe GoW 3 will impress me more. Don't misunderstand me, it's a wonderful game, I just wish there was more to the combat instead of the same old combos from the first game.ironwarrior2Well it is a sequel to the original story...
I thought it was pretty good. I need to give it more time. I completed the first level on normal, basically all you have to do is press L1+square. That move is so overpowered it's not even funny. My problem is that I'm a huge NG fan, so I compare everything to NG. I was unimpressed with the mobility of Kratos and button mashiness (game doesn't seem to care about timing button presses, as long as you press them), but I LOVE how cinematic and epic the game is. The music, camera angles, slow-motion, and animations are great and really draw you into the experience in a while NG doesn't. Still need to finish it though.rykazielYeah thats the one you mostly use at the beginning but that changes over the game's progress
